THEME: Equality and Diversity
INTRODUCTION
Equality and diversity is defined as promoting the equality of the opportunities for all the
people and also giving equal chance to the people to free from any kind of the discrimination
(Choroszewicz and Adams, 2019). Reebok is an American apparel and footwear firm that
founded in year 1958. This is an independent subsidiary of the German sporting products giants
Adidas since year 2005. The Reebok company produced and also distributes running, fitness and
CrossFit sportswear consisting footwear and clothing. In mention report will be discuss
regarding tools and techniques used by an organisation to gather as well as analysing the data or
information conducting an investigation in an effective way.

Background
Equality is related to fair treatment of the people regardless of their gender, nationality,
race, age etc. At workplace, equality is related to assuring that people are given the equal
opportunities and accepted differences for creating the positive workplace environment. Its main
aim is to assure that all people have the equal opportunities to be success and also this is helpful
in prevent the persons from discriminated. Diversity is related to appreciating differences among
persons and in relation with workplace assuring that each of varying the attributes (Amegashie,
2018). To attract and sustain diverse team, Reebok company place the premium on developing
and also living inclusive and respectful culture of an organisation. It has launches its sneaker that
aims is to promote the social justice and unity. Other than this, diversity gives an insight in to
how the diverse staff members feel and rate to their working experiences at the Reebok across
different cultural dimensions.

P2 Project management plan
Project development plan is mainly used to shape a particular process that will achieve a
project through. Developing and managing the activities and tasks conducted to meet the goals is
important. This is prepared as a formally authorized document that specifies the proper way the
task is performed, monitored and also controlled (De Cieri, 2017). Various aspects consists in
project management pan given below:
Cost- This is related to factor that is necessary to conduct the whole operations in
significant way. In context to Reebok, they need £50 for operating the activities in significant
manner. The need of cost depends on the functions and operations of an organisation.

than this, researcher able to know about the organisation to adopt the effective strategies for
enhancing profit level by sustaining staff members (Grissom, 2018).

Time- This is concerned with the time period of that company need to complete project in
successful way. Under this researcher set a time period to completing project and also getting the
positive outcomes. For the purpose of finishing project, they need around 2 to 3 months.
Quality- This is related to quality of services or products which an organisation going to
provide to consumers to fulfil requirements significantly. In context of Reebok, its quality is high
and people feel comfortable after wearing its shoes. It gives the training to the staff members so
their skills and core competencies can be increased and able to give the better satisfaction level
to customers so that they can be loyal towards firm (Grissom, Hashim and Wok, 2014).
Communication- This refers to a method under which an organisation develops different
action plans to properly communicate its staff and customers and help them create knowledge
regarding products and services. Company create different methods for interacting with
customers and staff. There are various communication tools used by Reebok to connect with the
customers and other stakeholders for an instance social media, email, print media and others
(Kamm and Weber, 2018).
Risk- It is related with each operation or initiative, but knowing it and managing it in a
proper way is necessary for a business to gain profit. For project completion, there are various
risks involved to Reebok company such as technological and financial.
Resources- It is related to factors which assists in completing project in specified time
period. Main resources required in completing the project are machines, skilled staffs, finance
and others.
P3 Gantt Chart and Work breakdown structure
For completion the project on time, Gantt Chart and WBS both are necessary. These help
in managing activities of project and getting positive outcomes (Morgan, 2016).
Work breakdown structure- This is deliverable-oriented decay of the research that was
done by the project team in order to achieve project goals and produce the necessary
deliverables. This illustrates framework within which project team can grasp manageable
chunks. It begins with project as deliverable and decomposed in sub-deliverable through the use
of hierarchy as top level. Work breakdown structure is mainly developed through project team
by determining main functional deliverable in sub- deliverables and small systems. Company
use the work breakdown structure for managing the large projects into manageable sections. To

break down into smaller pieces ensures that work can be done concurrently across different team
members, leading to high productivity in the team (Tran, 2014).

Gantt chart- Gantt chart refers to useful tool in project management that displays
activities which are mainly performed against the time. This is a visual overview of the project
where the tasks are split as well as illustrated on the map to easily understand and interpret.
Gantt chart is helpful in planning as well as scheduling of size projects which are helpful in
simplifying the complex projects on time. Against this context, timelines for project management
are translated into horizontal bar map, end dates, requirements and deadlines. Through using
Gantt chart management keep informed regarding by kind of additional resources which needed
as well as manage the dependencies among tasks (Tran, 2019).
