Introduction
Business environment is the space where business operates. Business can be affected by
various external and internal factors within the organisation. Environment shows the
profitability, longevity and growth of the organisation. the factors influence business operations
in many ways. Wilko is the multinational company and UK based company. This comes
operates in retail sector and famous for good quality of items. Company have wide product
portfolio which include clothing, footwear, accessories, bags, home decor etc.
This study will discuss different types of organisation with its purpose and legal structures.
Size and scope of different range of business will also be ascertain. Further it will explain
relations within organisational functions and identify positive and negative impact macro
environment have on business. This study will also discuss internal and external analysis of the
company to know the strength and weakness and also how it interrelates with external factors.
Main body
P1 types and purpose of the organisation with their legal structure.
Public company:
They are those company which traded publically and public can purchase their shares in
order to take dividends (Koišová and et.al., 2017). They are also listed on stock exchange and
under this ownership is given to the people who has purchase shares. This company is formed
under the legal system of the authority. The purpose of the company is to deliver goods and
services to the customers in order to earn profits. They want to give more value to their
shareholders so want to generate good revenue. Its aim is to not earn profits only but to carry
business activity in such manner that does not harm environment and community. NHS is the
public company which provide health care services to them. It is the famous company and
provide services to the people in order to contribute in the society.
Legal structure of NHS:
The legal relations of the company is set to be the complex. The decision making in the company
is done by higher authorities. NHS give treatment to the patients by taking appointments and
their employees aim is to serve the society. They give treatment to every patients despite being
thinking about whose legal duty is this. The company is also bounded with legal obligations.
National health service act 2006 governed the legal structure of NHS.

Private company:
Private organisation do business for the purpose of profit making. These companies are owned
by private groups and contribute in the economic growth of the country. There main purpose of
doing business is to generate high revenue with increased sales. They higher skilled and
knowledgeable employees so that they can help company in achieving objectives and increasing
market share. They want to create their brand value by providing those goods and services to the
customers what is demanded by them. Wilko is the private company in order to attract customers
company produce and deliver such goods which gives customer satisfaction and enhance their
loyalty.
Legal structure of Wilko:
Company is present in diversified locations and operate worldwide. They focus on super markets
and retail stores where company sell multiple products or items in order to fulfil the demand of
the customers. Wilko have many stores worldwide and these stores are there identity. Company
also operate online in order to fulfil the demand of online customers.
Voluntary company:
Voluntary organisation are those company which do business in order to serve the society. There
main objective is not to earn profit. The purpose of the company is to give services to the
community. Company work on social problems which can be related to health, education etc.
Their idea is to make world better place to survive. They are also called as the not for profit
organisation. red cross is the voluntary firm with the objective to give benefits and raising the
standard of the society. They does not expect any profit but want to return and enrich the
community (Hamilton and Webster, 2018). They are also helpful in making social wealth and
improvising the society. The organisation was founded with the aim to protect life of human and
their health. They make sure their humans live respectively in the society and decrease their
sufferings. Employees of the company work voluntary and create awareness about human health.
Legal structure of Red cross:
Company have the aim to fight against human health and provide them better living and for this
purpose they are grasping help from doctors and other health care workers. They also run
campaign so that can provide useful information to the society in terms of health.
