INTRODUCTION
Talent management refers to the process of hiring right candidates for the organization
and developing as well as motivating them to achieve business goals and objectives. It is the
most important concept that every organization should focus on. It includes many responsibilities
that a manager need to perform. Talent management is performed by following a proper process
which is followed and it includes planning, attracting, selecting, developing, retaining and
transitioning. It is very important that all employees working in the organization are motivated
continuously so that they perform effectively and achieve success(Taylor, 2018). Talent
management is important for the organization because it helps them to remain competitive as
well as motivate people to grow in the organization. The below report is based on Apex hotels. It
was founded in 1996 by Norman Spring ford. It is situated in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Background to research topic:-
Talent management is a concept that is defined as the activities which involve
identification as well as development of talents which creates a high value in the organization in
order to achieve success. The concept is defined by using human resource planning so that
companies objectives can get achieved. It was determined by McKinsey and company. It is the
power as well as ability of organization to recruit most talented candidates who will enhance
company's productivity. Talent management is not just associated with finding out right and
effective candidates but also that candidates should remain in the same organisation so they
should be motivated as well as attract them in order to achieve success. For every organization
talent management is a very big challenge so every organisation should focus on that. Many
organisations faces issue regarding talent management as they put all their effort on attracting
their employees and don't focus on developing their talent which is also needed in organisation.
Talent management is important because it increases employee performance, retain top talent as
well as improves business performance.
