Chapter 1: Introduction
Talent management strategies are to be used by organisations for the purpose of managing
their workforce. Talent strategies are related to managing of overall talent in organisations and
are part of human resource process. Objective of each time management process is to enhance
the overall employee performance that can help in building of a sustainable competitive
advantage and also outperforming the competition. Rowlinson knitwear is a medium-size
organisation that a selected in the present research report. There are different types of talent
management that can help in enhancing the improvement of overall business process. Present
report is based on analysing the different talent management strategies that can be used in an
organisation and further there is identification of relationship between overall business
performance and talent management process.
Background of research:
The present research report is based on analysing the different HR process that can help in
analysing the present human resource management strategies of organisation. This research is
very helpful in developing a detailed understanding of the relationship between business
performance and overall process of talent management.

Research aim: Main aim of this research is “To identify the significance of talent management
for medium size business organisation in improvement of its performance”. A study on

Chapter 2: Literature review
Role of talent management within an organisation
As per Ghosh (2021), Talent management strategies are very important for the purpose of
managing talent in the organisation. In Rowlinson knitwear there are some of the talent
management strategies that can be adopted in the organisation. It includes preparation of detailed
job description that can help human resource managers in talent acquisition process. It also helps
in the process of making informed decisions. Another strategy is person or organisation fit so
that employees are able to fit in the overall organisation culture by development of a comfortable
person approach (Shulga. and Busser, 2019). Another important strategy of talent management is
collaboration techniques that are evolved with creation of a culture that can help in developing
feedback from employees. Rewarding and recognising the right talent is also very important for
employees and organisations as it creates a great opportunity for employees to showcase their
employees that they are important for the organisation. One of the most effective talent
management strategies that can be used in the changing scenario is offering opportunities for
continuous improvement (Lesenyeho, Barkhuizen and Schutte, 2018). Talent management helps
in strategic planning career paths so that employees can feel that there is contribution towards
maximization of employee performance
The strategies of managing talent at workplace of Rowlinson knitwear
As per view points of Jarvi (2021), talent management strategies are playing a very crucial
role for the purpose of maximizing the competence of present human resource in the
organisation. Organisations are operating in highly dynamic environment that is supported by
unpredictable political economic and technological changes. Organisations have to work towards
transforming their employees so that they are able to survive in long run (Thunnissen and
Gallardo-Gallardo, 2017). The overall capability of strategic renewal is one of the key

management is playing a very crucial role in process of strategic renewal and the way different
strategies can be implemented for the purpose of maximizing the present contribution level of
employees.
With relation to growing organisations like Rowlinson knitwear it becomes more important to
adopt talent management as a strategy for the purpose of higher organisation commitment on part
of the employees. It is one of the tools that can help in having positive impact towards overall
outcomes on part of employees and process of maximization of present strength of employees.

process of talent management and the way organisations are encouraged to develop their
workforce. With the changing time organisations are considered different recruitment strategies
that are helping in the process of effective talent management. It helps in the process of internal
managing of workforce and also organisations are able to responsibly help their staff to perform
better and develop them in the required manner (Connor and Crowley-Henry, 2019).
Organisations that are at growing stage posses responsibility to enable their staff to perform
better. Talent management is one of the important priorities for business organisations that can
help them in development of high performing culture. In Rowlinson knitwear test strategy is very

Research Methodology
Research methodology is defined as the process of gathering, selecting, analysing
relevant information on a particular topic; it helps reader to critical assess the consistency and
validity of particular information. Research methodology is one of the essential process for an
researcher as it allow effective collection and analysis of data also facilitate applicable outputs
that results in achieving research objectives effectively (Healey, 2017). There are various types
of research methodologies which allows researcher to collect and analyse the relevant
information needed to achieve the research objectives more effectively, the various types of
research methodologies are discussed below:
Research philosophy: It is defined as the process which deals mainly how or the ways, in which
particular data should be collected; it includes the nature and source of information. There are
two type of research philosophy namely positivism and interpretivisim (Lai and Yuen, 2019).
For the current study the positivism is taken into consideration as it helps in collecting and
analysing quantitative data whereas the interpretivisim is time consuming process.
Research design: It is the process of analysing the research problem. The research design is
mainly of three types namely descriptive, experimental and exploratory. For this research
descriptive research is taken into consideration as it allow the researcher to identify research
problems also helps in gathering and analysing research data more effectively helping them to
achieve research objectives more effectively.
Research strategy: The research strategy is process of gathering information about the research
are using methods like survey, interview, case study, and literature review and action research. In
order to carry out the research the investigation, literature review and survey is taken into
consideration (Wagaman, Obejero, and Gregory, 2018). The survey is part of primary data or
information whereas the literature review is the part of secondary information.
Reliability and validity: it is part of methodology that can assist investigator in analysing the
reliability and validity of information. In the present research report there is use of questionnaire
