motivation of employees that automatically maximises company stability and profitability in
market (Pramanik, Mondal and Haldar, 2020). Present report has been conducted on, Hilton
hotel (Park Lane London Branch ), company offers wide range of services and facilities to
consumers while operating their business operations in hospitality sector.
In this report involves formative discussions upon research aim, objectives, project
management plan, and literature review. Along with this, report include data qualitative and
quantitative data collection evaluation along with questionnaire. Lastly, reflection in addition
with recommendation is being covered in preset report.
Background of the organisation
Hilton Hotel is conducting its business operations as a leading hotel and provide wide range of
products, services and facilities to customers. This organisation is performing its business
operations as a leading organisation thus, it is essential for company to provide equal treatment
to all employees. It has been evaluated that being a large scale organisation hotel faces
difficulties to provide equal treatment to employees. Therefore, proper implication and
management of equality and diversity practices becomes essential and vital for this organisation

in order to maintain equality and diversity within its operations in order to have positive
relationship with employees.

Rationale for selection of topic
The selection of current research topic is rational and significant as it is associated with
key issues faced in a corporate governance which become vital and important for all organisation
to keep a check and control on mismanagement. Further, current research work is vital to have
better understanding about the concept of corporate governance that is vital and essentially
needed by a firm to meet legal as well as ethical consideration while conducting its business
operations. Apart from this, current research project is also important and vital to meet the

academic purpose and educational background of the investigator along with leading improved
skills and competencies.

Literature review is defined as all-inclusive summary of research topic in which articles,
books, surveys, scholarly articles and other essential relevant sources are being included through
which authority and authenticity of research can be effectively ensured. With the help of proper
research review effective description, evaluation and summary of research can be done. In
addition to this, it has been evaluated that by conducting research review, researcher can
effectively provide foundation of respective research topic through which it can further be
prevented from duplication (Gozali and et. al., 2020). Mentioned below research review has

which individuals of different skills, talent, knowledge and other characteristics perform their
roles and responsibilities to fulfil organisational objectives and aims. It has been evaluated that it
is essential for an organisation to make sure that there is no discrimination prevails in their
workplace structure as it can badly affect their long term sustainability and brand visibility.
However, according to the perception of Kumuthavalli, 2020, there various types of
discrimination can be founded in workplace. In this some of the certain factors on which workers
get discriminated in related to age, disability, race, national origin, pregnancy, religious,
gender/sex, sexual orientation, equal pay discrimination and more (WHAT ARE DIFFERENT

In addition to this, it has been evaluated that workplace discrimination can be direct,
indirect or both. In term with direct discrimination which is also known as disparate
discrimination mainly takes place when any individual treats or encourages other person to treat

has been analysed that this form of discrimination mainly undertakes place due to stereotypes
that has been made about qualities and abilities of those individuals who are in protected classes.
While on the other hand, if it is talked about indirect discrimination it occurs when a condition or

policy is being duly get imposed which is having disadvantage, side effects upon protected group
(Baron, 2020). Thus, according to the above analysis it has been evaluated that there are number

Cost :- It is a sum of overall money which is going to be utilized in the execution of all
activities inclusive in project. In terms with present research of Hilton hotel approximately
£60,000 is being determined.
Scope :- This factor is basically a combination of objectives and requirements which are
essential for conducting research. In context with present research it has been evaluated that this
research is facilitating wide scope for Hilton hotel, as it allows them to fulfilment their objectives
with higher effectiveness.

Quality :- It is an essential aspect that facilitate execution of project in best effective
manner. In order to conduct present research with maximum quality, researcher ensure

and observations. Basically data is categorized into two forms, primary data and secondary data.
So the following is the detailed study of both the forms of data.
Primary Data: This is also known as raw data. It is collected by the analyst or
investigator from personal or direct sources. This is done using approaches like surveys,
interviews, questionnaires, observations, focus groups or experiments (Fahri, Arilaha and
Pratama, 2020). Benefits of primary data are that it is specific, accurate, ownership, up to date
information and controllable. Primary data are collected originally from the direct sources which
are considered up to the mark information. It's different forms and methods are designed in such
a way that it can be benefited in every aspect like professionally as well as for study also. For

better research, it is most important that the data should be reliable which is only possible
through first hand information that is primary data.
Secondary Data: It is the data which is not collected directly. This information is gained
through sources like social science include census, organization records, books, published
sources, unpublished personal sources, journal, newspapers, bots, radio, library, internet enabled
devices, websites, blogs, diaries, podcasts or information by government departments. These are
the data which are collected through the sources which has been already collected for other
researches previously (Hartley, 2020). Analysis of secondary data can be done by research
designing, developing the research question, identifying and evaluating the secondary data. It's
merits includes that these are easy to access, inexpensive, time saving, longitudinal and
comparative study and generating new insights.

secondary data collection method is being undertaken by researcher in order to assure successful
research outcomes.
Quantitative Research:
This data collection method is based on facts and numbers, it is mainly undertaken to test
and assure the theories as well as assumptions which is being duly expressed in numbers and
graphs (Yıldırım and Korkmaz, 2020). This form of data is basically structured via statistical
evaluation. With the assistance of this method researcher can undertake utilization of large

overall performance of employees.

By considering the above discussion, various strategies are useful in terms of developing
effective surroundings and also tends to promote equality and diversity for the prominent
working employment that tends to make more effective and comfortable by offering flexible
working conditions and environment. For this, proper enforcement of rules and norms are
important for effectively practising regarding the equality and diversity at the workplace. In
relation with, Park Lane London Branch it is analysed that proper diversity and equality is
important in organisation regarding effective performance and functioning and also helps in
overcoming the significant problems like gender pay gap. In regard of this, effective strategies
are recommended to Park Lane London Branch in terms of formulating effective planning for
better implementation of diversity and equality.
 With the help of proper communication, managers and leaders of Park Lane London
Branch tends to provide effective information prominently for critical and effectively

working for the team performance. It is prominently important for the company
considering the project that can be considered on the grounds of requirements and
immediate corrective activities. For this, people consider various culture in terms of
overcoming from the complex situations and issues and for this, transparent
communication is essential in terms of effective performance of employees.
 Along with this, team building is also considered by respective company as there are
significant differences in various types of culture as in US, individual culture is
considered by employees as they want to work alone but in UK, employees prefer to
work in team with the proper support and coordination of employees. In terms of Park

fulfilling the goals and objectives of company with proper support and coordination of
employees.
 Besides this, time is also important and also considered by Park Lane London Branch as
culture tends to change according to time in terms of making betterment and development
for various things. For instance, significant difference shown with the help of balance
among family life and work and the managers and leaders of respective company tends to
consider proper culture in terms of making effective improvement in the overall
performance of company. Along with this, variations in prominent perceptions of time
tends to develop huge misunderstanding at the workplace prominently for the schedule

 Furthermore, it is required that businesses need to offer prominent working platform to
their employees and also consider effective level of equality and fair activities in terms of

By considering the above study which is done by me is useful in maintaining effective
knowledge and understanding about the prominent study which is used by me in order to
motivate the significant working standards of workforce. Along with this, Park Lane London
Branch tends to support and promote diverse culture in terms of having significant changes
considering the working norms in which employees feel more safe and secure and also has
flexibility to perform according to their needs and requirements. In addition to this, it undertake
various details which I gained regarding the significance of values and beliefs of situation of the
culture in terms of performing for the project plan and also tends to offer prominent briefing
regarding the overall research in terms of Gantt chart and WBS as it is helpful in terms of
containing significant result which is useful for business. For this, I also make sure that
prominent errors tends to get removed which is prominently depends on the usage of effective
communication and interpersonal skills in terms of making communication effective for their
employees which is useful in collecting the prominent information regarding the diversity. For
this, I need to develop significant questionnaire which is useful in eliminating the complexity as
employees need to undertake and should be preferred in terms of making prominent
interpretation. For this, I also use the academic understanding in terms of learning which is
useful for me in completing the effective research within the stipulated period of time.
CONCLUSION
By considering the above discussion, it is identified that effective equality and diversity is
important within an organisation in terms of performing well and effectively practice an

organisation in terms of making sure for each and every employee at the organisation in terms of
having prominent rights and opportunities. It is useful for an organisation to ensure that
workforce does not prominently facing discrimination considering the culture, age, gender, race,
age, colour and so on. It is also important to effectively manage the overall project in terms of
prominently performing and accomplishing significant goals and objectives. It is also suitably
done with the help of WBS and Gantt chart and the success of business concern is based on the
