INTRODUCTION
Global Tourism Destinations refers to the different types of tourism destinations which
are present within the world and therefore can help the tourists to be able to gain wide
knowledge and exposure of the world (Brandão, Breda and Costa, 2019). Therefore it becomes
quite important from the point of view of the tourism organisations that they are able to make
sure that they are able to provide the information to the different types of customers and clients
which will help in ensuring that they are able to achieve the goals and objectives effectively and
efficiently. For understanding about global tourism destinations, considered entity is The
Tourism Company which is leading travel and tourism consulting venture which was set in 1990
for the purpose of combining innovative ideas along with realistic solutions.
In this report, a detailed analysis will be made on examination of scale and nature of
global tourism, assessment of the scope and characteristics of key emerging markets and
destination regions, exploring the role of key organisations in the development of global tourism.
Additionally, analysis on appraise threats, issues and challenges to the future development of
global tourism will be discussed as a part of this assignment.

A study have been conducted by marketing team of The Tourism Company to analyse
nature along with trends pertaining in tourism sector at global scale. Its results are as follows:
Interpretation- As per the interpretation of the statistics provided above, United States is
the country where the global tourists splash the most cash. The expenditure made by the tourists
here is 210.7 billion dollars. Spain comes next with and expenditure of 68.0 billion dollars.
