Chapter 1: Introduction Overview of the research The health, safety and safeguarding refers to attempt of practices to make sure about own health as well as security. It includes to take proper precautions to maintain health and take effective safety measures for self safeguarding (Chisnell and Kelly, 2019). However,people conduct various practices for these aspects like visiting hospitals, take medicines, intake proper balanced diet, physical exercise, maintain hygiene and so on. In addition to this, healthcare professionals plays an important role in terms of making citizens aware of healthy habits and activities through they can avoid infections, diseases or health issue for remaining healthy as well as safe. Moreover, the safeguarding practices consist to take safety measures like crossing roads carefully, follow traffic rules to avoid accidents and avoid harmful substance intake to maintain health & safety(Nickel and Lungfiel, 2018). Background of the research Health and safety measures are intake throughout the lifespan of an individual. Initially, it consist to careful handling the newborn baby with proper supporting clothes and cushions to maintain their safety. However, parents take care of toddlers to make sure that they should not eat something harmful or go nearby stairs. It has been analysed that elders to ensure about interaction of children with other people that they should not be wrong company (Wong,2018). Meanwhile, it is observed that small symptoms of a child is quickly notices and immediately consult with registered physician and get antibiotics injections when require to maintain their health & safety. The adults and middle aged people take precautions by their own to avoid health problems, injuries, incidents or accidents to safeguard them(El and Bouabdallah, 2018). Research aim “To analyse the effective strategies which impact on health, safety and safeguarding through the lifespan.” Research objectives To identify the basic knowledge related to health, safety and safeguarding in life. To evaluate the effective strategies for ensuring proper health, safety and safeguarding throughout the lifespan.

Rationale of the research In context of this investigation, it is important to carry out study to evaluate more effectiveaswellasefficientstrategieswhicharesuitabletoensurehealth,safetyand safeguarding of an individual throughout their lifespan(Stewart and MacIntyre, 2017). It is observed that many of people are not aware about potential precautions due to which they have faced severe health issue or injuries. However, it is significant to identify appropriate practices which can be further converted in guidelines for people to maintain their health and safety in proper manner. Moreover, it is essential to evaluate more innovative actions which plays an important role to ensure health, safety and safeguarding within the entire lifespan of human beings(Petti, 2018). Chapter 2: Literature Review The basic knowledge related to health, safety and safeguarding in life The health, safety and safeguarding of an individual is mostly depends upon their own regular activities and practices. As per views given byAcharya (2019), it includes the fact that injuries of health problems can be easily prevented with the help of taking several precautions related to diet, intake of other substances and conduct different activities on daily basis. However, it has been analysed that an individual has number of duties regarding their health safety that are mentioned here. Initially, it is necessary to carry out proper assessment of related risk factors along with evaluating effective ways to overcome with the same. Secondly, it is required to maintain health & safety at work place by applying appropriate methods or procedures including secure equipments. Thirdly, it is important render accurate information, knowledge, learning and training in regards to secure working techniques along with maintain

It is essential to make sufficient availability of safety devices and equipment along with promoting effective cooperation between staff members for ensuring about maintenance of safety at work place.The risk factor of individuals can be occur from different factors such as optimization in state of health, poorly development of economic factor, etc. The safeguarding is highly necessary in children as they are more prone to abuse and neglect. There are many children who are living with their non-biological parents in which the risk of abuse is occur. The adult and young person faces neglect and abuse from their surroundings. As the highly attracted to their surroundings which involve them to take part in various activities which harm their safeguarding(Arrey, 2019).The use of substance and other is also a risk factor in safeguarding people and their friends or family. The culture and social factor also cause neglect and abuse in the life of people which develops dress in their development of physically, emotionally and mentally. The social factors include unemployment discrimination which develops risk of neglect among people and it is also a threat of safeguarding people as it also developed several barriers among individuals from which they cannot develop properly. The effective strategies for ensuring proper health, safety and safeguarding throughout the lifespan According to theHarlowand Smith (2016), the effective strategies should be applied by everyone in their lives for maintaining health, safety and safeguarding within entire life. It includes more effective as well as efficient practices which ate mentioned here. Firstly, people should follow healthy lifestyle which must contain intake of healthy diet, regular exercise, regular check-ups, avoid harmful substances etc. Secondly, a person is required to remain focussed and careful while carrying out any kind of tasks regularly to avoid relevant injuries or incidents for safeguarding themselves.There are also different strategies that are developed by non-Government and government authorities. They implement different laws and legislation for the welfare of people so that they can reduce abuse and neglect among them. Their aim is to deliver safeguarding two people from their lifespan so that their proper health and wellbeing can be achieved. The implementation of this factor reduces the risk of harm that develops due to various other factors which are related to individual’s life. It is necessary to make safeguarding in a proportional manner. This should not be occur as over intrusive in life of vulnerable individuals, families and their surroundings. There are various people who need safeguarding so provide them fully protection so that their mental physical health can be influenced. The communities, local authorities and businesses that are related with health and
social care must play significant role in partnership so that they can reduce abuse and neglect. They can play their role by detecting the cause of harm and reporting it. This provides sustainability of prevention from harm abuse and neglect among people by providing them safety including their health. The implementation of these various acts also provide effective strategies among health and social Care organization from which they can deliver proper safeguarding to people. The help of such acts, the health care practitioner can provide safeguarding two people for their life span by considering their needs and requirements(Wong, 2018). These acts have some limitations from which secure and safe environment can be developed that provide high quality of services among people by healthcare professionals. The healthcare professionals can also conduct various seminar and inspection from which we can regularly assess the impact of factors on people. This helps them in providing safeguarding to vulnerable people(Boggis, 2018). Chapter 3: Research methodology Qualitative research methods will be focussed in order to analyse study about effective strategies of safeguarding to gain appropriate findings. It is favourable because of gaining in- depth details about the selected research problems which provide support to achieve accurate results (Glesne, 2016). However, it is focussed on the characteristics of target population which is more suitable to carry out this investigation. Data sources:There are two types of data resources are occur that are primary and secondary. The primary resources provide information by structure questionnaire and this is occur from newly information. The secondary sources provide information from data that are already occur. Ethical consideration:At time of conducting research, it is necessary to conduct primary and secondary research in an appropriate manner. So while conducting research it is necessary to consider ethics so that confidentiality informed consent beneficence and autonomy can be considered. The researcher must follow ethical consideration in both primary and secondary research(Acharya, 2019). Sampling:This is an effective process for selecting sample size within research. The sampling occur in in two manner which are probability and nonprobability. In this research, the sample size in select on random basis is 40 respondents will be selected.
