INTRODUCTION
Management and operations are major practices of the business which regulated and
operated for the purpose of gain high profit in the market.
The management is basically comes under the administration of any business or
company.
It is completely responsible for manage all operations within business environment.
There are main functions of the management are planning, organizing, staffing,
controlling, and directing etc. the management is also responsible for the decision-
making.
In which the top-level management at any firm need to take some effective decisions
for run all operations on a progressive path.

Key Operations
Various key operations of the Tesco are capacity, sales
and supply chain management.
In which the manager of the company is supervising
these all operations for systematic management.
The manager also focuses on improve efficiency of the
company by reducing waste aspect within production
process.

Approaches to Operations Management
There are operations management includes many approaches where the leader and the manager both are
playing great role. In these all approaches there are mentioned three major approaches to operations
management below;
Total Quality Management (TQM): This approach was developed for the purpose of reducing errors
and mistakes within production process. In which the manager of the Tesco need to give orders to the
leader and production department for avoid such elements and actions within the manufacturing plant
which promote errors in the production process. In other side the leader need to employ manager's
orders and decisions within manufacturing plant for reduce errors. TQM is very necessary approach
for the Tesco for save their lots of useful cost and time in the production processes.
Just in Time (JIT): It is one of the major strategies of the management. JIT is important in for the
Tesco to improve its efficiency and performance in the market. It is also helpful in decrease waste
aspect of the company. Here is the manager's role is, it is responsible for create a systematic
production schedule for directly order raw-material from suppliers. In which it needs to order only
such material which necessary in the current time production. In other hand here is the leader is
responsible to identify the actual raw-material need of the production department.
