INTRODUCTION
Management and operation is important for achieving goal of company in timely manner. It
has been analysed that management of operation assists in handling various operations of
organisation in an appropriate manner. This report is carried upon the company named as
Rowlinson Knitwear founded in the year of 1972. They offer apparel as well as textile product to
its customer in order to satisfy them. The main purpose of company is to target ample of user for
earning profit. In addition to this, the project report use different style of leadership for
conducting different activity in good way. They also provide information related to various
models that must be linked to leadership in better way (Coker and Helo, 2016).

P1. Explain and making comparison of role and feature of leader as well as manager.
Introduction to the company
Rowlinson Knitwear is considered as medium size organisation founded in the year of
1972. They offer apparel as well as textile product to its customer in order to satisfy them. The
mission of company is to provide superior quality goods to its customer in order to attract them.
The vision of company is to achieve leading position across the world.
The leader is determined as a person who influences staff member of organisation. In
reference of chosen company, the leader focuses on influencing it's a staff member that helps in
achieving goal in timely manner. The duty of leader is to assign task to its staff member in order
to increase productivity level in future period of time.
Role of a leader
The leader emphasized on achieving goal of company in timely manner.
The leader offer apparent image in respect of vision of companies that help in increasing
performance in better way.
Characteristic of a leader
It is important for leader to have superior communication that helps in influencing
employees for performing work in better way.
The leader must possess confidence level that helps in enhancing subordinate for
executing task in an appropriate manner.

direction, monitoring as well as controlling the activity of company in an appropriate manner. It

Six Sigma is considered as an approach that is connected to enhancing product quality and
reducing the cost that is linked with product by decreasing wastage. It is considered as a popular
way adopted by selected company that helps in reducing wastage and increasing product quality
during particular phase of time period.

In an organisation, Six Sigma is organising in various stages for reducing the defect as well
