Planning for growth for that particular business. Retail Sector is one of the most important
sectors of an economy as it provides people with simple access to food, groceries, hygiene
products, etc. This sector could also get affected by some factors which are present in the
external environment of a business and a Pestle analysis on these factors can provide new comers
of small businesses with information about environment before setting up their businesses. This
present report represents a deep study of growth opportunities for SMEs. This file includes, types
of funding with their benefits and drawbacks, business plan to conduct day to day activities in
order to attain growth and succession or exit options available to businesses are also highlighted.
Whole research is conducted on the basis of Vectair Holdings a small business which deals in
hygiene products in retail sector. From this project file Vectair Holding could easily plan for its

market strategy could be implemented by decreasing in cost and improving their promotional

includes an agreement of buying and selling of property which is secured with a life insurance
policy. This type of plan is important to make in order to clear the views of public and members
that who will take over the business and also preventing any type of disputes between two or
more deserving parties. There are 4 common ways of transferring ownership of businesses.
1. Selling business to outside party: When there is no successor left who can take over
business then it is so obvious to sell business to third party. It is very complicated to build
willingness in the minds of any party. This would be easy to sell small business like retail
stores to any outside party.
2. Voluntary Winding Up: It is an alternative way of a shareholder exiting business. This
enables shareholders to unlock their capital in case of solvent company by putting it into
liquidation. This could also be used to secure an orderly winding up of a business or to
close down a subsidiary.
3. Mergers and Acquisitions: In general, it means consolidation of companies or its assets
through various types of financial transactions. It involves the process of combining two
