INTRODUCTION
There are different types of teaching practices and techniques available. they are used and
applied on basis of requirement. Each technique enables in providing learning in different way.
Also, its use depends on what area where those practices are implied. With that learner needs is
fulfilled. The technique selected needs to be according to area. A teaching method comprises of
principles and methods used to enable student learning (Sano, Hirai, and Takeda, 2018). These
strategies are determined partly on subject matter to be taught and partly by the nature of the
learner. It is the primary role of teachers to deliver knowledge and info to students. In this public
health area is selected.

1.1 Explain purpose of specialist delivery technique in meeting learner needs in specific area
The main purpose of delivery technique in teaching practices is that it enables promoting
health in different way. Through that it becomes easy to create awareness about practices and
procedures to be followed in offering care services. In addition, learner are able to gain
knowledge about it and then apply in their area (Lu, 2020). However, teaching is provided on
basis of certain methods which enable in ease in learning process by students.
The use of delivery technique will be beneficial in assessing needs and then fulfilling in
public health.
1.2 Identify learning needs which is met through use of specialist delivery techniques
There are many needs of learners which needs to be fulfilled. But it is not possible only
with help of general teaching practices. In this it requires to use specialist delivery techniques.
Thus, there are various needs of learners which is met through those techniques. For instance-
learner are able to get insight on how care services is to be provided, another need is knowledge
about concept of public health, methods of promoting it, etc. however, the needs are vast and it
also includes ways of maintaining public health and what are criteria followed in it. Apart
from it, communication skill, decision making, problem solving, etc. are some needs as well.
Hence, these all needs of learners met through it (Bhidayasiri, Boonpang, and van Laar, 2016).
1.3 Justify use of specialist delivery technique to meet need of learner in specific area
In this as states the area selected is public health and health promotion. Therefore, it requires
different techniques to be applied in it so that learner needs are fulfilled. Thus, here role play
technique is selected. It is because it will enable all learner to engage with each other and act on

particular case. So, by doing it in practical way learner will be able learn how to communicate,
respond, and take decisions by working in team. Apart from it, technique selected will engage all
learner together. Besides that, various scenarios can be selected in it and then role play begin.
Hence, leaner will learn many things from it by acting in number of role plays. Therefore, with
one technique learner all types of needs can be fulfilled. So, it does not require to change
technique to fulfil varied needs of learner (Wieringa, 2019).

2.1 Issues that influence development of specialist delivery techniques
There are several issues which influence on delivery techniques. It is described as
Environment factor- it is major issue because use of delivery technique depends on
environment. So, if there is any change in it then delivery technique is changed.
Lack of resources this issue can arise if technique selected in it is not proper. Here, if
resources available are not sufficient then it influence on technique.
Learner needs- here, any change in learner needs influence on delivering technique. The use of
technique depends on learner needs and area to which they belong.
Thus, these are issues which influence techniques in public health.
2.2 Select specialist delivery technique to meet needs of learners
It is evaluated that there are many delivery techniques in it to be used. Here, role play technique
is used. This technique is used as it will enable in creating a script for learners in which they will
act. It will be provided for short time period and is based on many things. Apart from it, there are
many other which will be used (Higton, Archer, R. and Duckworth, 2017).
Group discussion- in this there will be group discussion done on some particular topic to fulfil
learner needs. So, learner will discuss and gain knowledge about particular topic. In this way
they will learn from it.
Micro teaching session- the session will be organised for short time period. It will be based on
many topics and also here presentation will be used to demonstrate learning.
Hence, these all are delivery techniques which is used to meet needs in public health area.
2.3 Use of specific learning activity to support specialist delivery technique
There are various learning activity through which above technique will be delivered. So, it
requires activity that is specified as

Care service- this activity can be conducted in role play. In this a hypothetical scenario is
developed and then role play is done. It allows all learner to engage in it and then do act.
Play games- here is another activity which can be included in it. The game related to marketing
and promotion is played to show how to communicate with others.
Brain writing- it is an activity in which learner are allowed to write their learning on topic. They
write reflection in it and learn from it (Dempsey, 2017).
2.4 select resources to support specialist delivery technique and learning activity
In order to initiate those activities and technique there requires different types of resources
for it. Thus, they are described as below
Projector- this is required to show presentation to learner in classroom. Through that, classroom
session will be conducted as well.
Tools and equipments- they are resource which is required to do role play. Here, various tools
like computer, etc are required in it.
Classroom- it is vital resource that is required to do role play. Also, in that group discussion
and session can be given in it.
Technology- there may require various technological resources in use of delivery technique.
2.5 Ways in which techniques can be used to meet individual learner needs
It is necessary to adopt technique for learners. So, for that there are different ways in it. First is
that learner can be given a demo of technique which will enable them to give overview and then
slowly it can be initiated into plan. This will make it easy for them to adopt. Another way is
training session can be organised so that learner adopt it in easier way. It will allow in arranging
session for short time and then giving them learning on basis of it (Boardman, 2019).

3.1 specialist delivery technique and learning activity to meet need of learner
Here, role play and training session is used as delivery technique and learning activity.
Through that, several session will be conducted on public health topic and then needs will be
fulfilled. there are to be change in things as well with learning. So, any in need will not make
change in delivery technique. But on that particular need session will be done. It is because it
will enable all learner to engage with each other and act on particular case. So, by doing it in
practical way learner will be able learn how to communicate, respond, and take decisions by
working in team. Apart from it, technique selected will engage all learner together.

3.2 Resources to support delivery technique and learning activity
Here, it requires similar resources to support delivery technique. They are

4.1 Effectiveness of technique to meet learner needs
In this i used the technique of role play in it. With that it was easy for me to organise and
conduct role play on different situations. Thus on basis of that i engaged learners into it.
Furthermore, they learn from it by communicating in effective way. Along with it, i did some
training sessions as well. With that i was able to explain them about several health care services
and how it is delivered to people. so, they learn from it about public health and engage in
decision making. besides that, i also used group discussion in it (Allen, and Taylor, 2017). So,
in that i gave them topics to write and then discuss on it. They learned the meaning of each topic
and then analysed skills in it. The techniques was highly effective as learner were easily able to
understand what they have to do, how etc. they learned a lot through these techniques. Therefore,
i was able to apply those techniques in effective way by which i attained my goals. Also, it was
helpful in fulfilling needs of learners as well.
4.2 Identify strength and areas for improvement in use of technique
I evaluated that by applying those technique there are some areas of strengths and weak in
which i need to improve. This is because i lack in some areas as well. Thus by improving those
it will be easy for me to use techniques in more effective way. So, i found that my strength in
that i was able to plan and conduct activity in proper way. Also, i organise learner and taught
them lessons properly. Besides that, in teaching sessions i was able to answer all questions of
learners and solved their queries. Moreover, i also did group discussion in efficiency way. I
created notes and used in it which was helpful for them (Sano, Hirai, and Takeda, 2018).

But my weak areas was that i did not use role play technique properly. I did not know
how to plan in it and organise things. Moreover, in that i did not know what type of learning is
to be given in it. Besides that, i was not experienced enough as well to deliver teaching with role
play. Another weak area i identified was that i was not able to properly communicate with them.
So, this lead to confusion in it and delivering of technique. In addition, i did not took effective
decision in it. So, this highly impacted on use of delivery techniques.
CONCLUSION
Hereby, it is concluded that specialist delivery techniques are role play, video lecture, group
learning, etc. they are applied by teacher in specific area. With that learner needs is fulfilled.
There are certain activity as well in it like playing games, brain writing, etc. there may occur
several issues in it like environment, lack of resources, etc. besides that, resources required in
technique is projector, tools and equipment and many others. The use of technique depends on
specific areas that is identified in it.
