Talent management generally is an activity and procedure of using strategic individual

identify their aims. It is overall potential of HR process to attract, involved, develop and
administrate effective executing individual. The key objective of talent management is to
enhance productivity by actions that execute by manpower in more effective form. For the
completion of this assessment, Sainsbury’s is the company which is considered (Al-Lozi,
Almomani and Al-Hawary, 2018). It is the second largest chain of supermarkets in UK which
was incorporated in 1869 and is operating its business in at global scale with its number of
commodities. This project will discuss about research aims, objectives and project management
plan. Moreover, it will explain about research methods, determination of research information,
recommendation and reflection on the value of undertaking the research.

Background of the topic and organisation- This research document will consider information
regarding talent management and retention that is an activity of managing and retaining talented
workers of the company and make an efficient engagement in the development of the company. J
Sainsbury Plc trading as Sainsbury’s is the second largest chain of supermarkets in the UK. This
firm was established in 1869 and is headquartered in London, England, UK. The firm operate its
segments such as retail, financial services and property investment (J Sainsbury PLC. 2020). The
retail segment is involved in the operation of supermarkets and convenience. This venture
operates its business in different nation of the world with the help of its outlets and its online
services.
Research aim- “To demonstrate the strategies utilised by business establishment to attract and
retain talented workers. A case study on Sainsbury’s Plc.
Research objectives
To acknowledge the conception of talent management and retention.

To analyse the issues that are faced by Sainsbury’s Plc due to lack of management and
retention of employees in the company.
To determine the strategies which can be considered by the management of Sainsbury’s to

Project management plan
It signifies as the document that is use by the administration of the firm to define each and
every stage of a project with the help of numerous aspects of project management plan, This plan
consider different factors such as resource, cost, quality, scope, communication and risk etc. that
enable an individual to attain the specific document in an appropriate way in set time period
(O’Connor and Crowley-Henry, 2019). Regarding this research project, surveyor can take an
initiative in analysing different components which is required for attaining effective result and
they are defined as under:
Cost- It is considered as one of the crucial aspect for conducting a specific study as it assist
in getting efficient equipment in an appropriate way. In addition to this, cost indicates to those
aspects that obtain at the time of procedure of plan o the particular project in adequate way. In
order to this investigation, researcher makes an attempt to establish the marketplace which assists
them to determine the entire expenditure in adequate manner. So whole cost which is required to

Scope- This component is related with that perception in which maximisation the overall
