INTRODUCTION Managing a successful business project is a kind of project management which is a significantpracticethat includesplanning, controlling, initiating andstart workingthe work within the specified project. These steps are mainly undertaken in order to achieve certain objectives and goals. It requires requisite skills and knowledge to manage and implement the project. It involves independent research and the investigation to carry out the project. Talent management(TM)is considered as the constant processthat includesattracting andalso retaining theworkforcein anorganisation by developing theirknowledge and skill in order to motivate and improve the performance of the staff(Bottema, 2019). The organisation chosen for this report is Sainsbury, which is a multinational company establishedinLondonintheyear1869.Thisreportshallcovertheresearchontalent management with its aims and objectives, project management plan, primary secondary research, its interpretation with recommendations. Lastly it will cover reflection of the researcher. TASK 1 Prepare project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario. TMis referred to as the process which is aimed to retain and attract the employees which are of high quality in order to achieve the4 common goals and objectives. It helps in developing the skills of the workforce so that they feel motivated which can result in the improved performance(Hobbs and Petit, 2017).It is an important strategy which every business carries on in order to eliminate the cost which may incur due to high employee turnover. Sainsbury is a British company which deals globally. It was founded in the year 1869. It is a second largest company in the supermarket chain in UK. It offers its products and services through hypermarket, supermarket, superstore, forecourt shop and convenience shops. As a HR consultant, a researcher is beingselectedforthe organisation in order to identify theimportance of the talent management and best talent strategies can be brought outthat maybe used by the organisation forretaining and attractingthe employees. The main motive ofundergoingthis research isto find solution for theproblem of talent managementby bringing thecomprehensive method which can fulfil its objectives and aim. For executing this research, the aims and objectives of the research is discussed below- Research Aim-

Research Questions- What are the benefits of talent management in the organisation ? What are different kinds of strategies which Sainsbury can use in order to overcome the problem of talent-management ? What are the issues which the company is facing in terms of retaining and attracting the staff within the organisation ? Literature review According to Staff writer (2019), talent management can be defined as a method which is organised and is a strategic process which helps in getting the rightpersonanddeveloptheir abilitiesin order to meet the organisational goals.(HR Technologist, 2019) According to Mona Mumtazian (2020), talent management strategies are important as it helps in attracting the top talent and increase the performance of the employees. It builds employee engagement and results in high satisfaction.(Career360, 2020). According to Neil Kokemuller (2019), talent management strategies involves many challenges which may result in high cost in implementing the strategies and may also result in work conflicts.(AZ Central, 2018) Project management plan It is a documentthat is formal in naturewhich involves description of the project as to how itmustbe carried out. Itnormallyprovidesthetargets, scope, timeline, budget and other components in order to keep the project on the track(Walters and Helman,2020). It helps in communicating the details and information in respect to the project to the concerned authorities. The channels which can be used by the researcher shall include emails, telephonic conversations, verbal face to face communication and many other.
Scope- This research has a wide scope as it will help in giving support to the company in order to overcome the problem of talent strategy. This research will help the investigator in bringing the best strategy for the organisation which is suitable for its successful management of the workforce. Additionally,it will help in performancemanagementand increasingthe efficiency of the worker. Risk- There is certain risk which are involved in starting up anything. Likewise, this research also has certain risk which includes fear of researcher to complete the task on time, risk of collecting the reliable data, privacy concerns and many other. Resources- It involves requisite resources with the help of which the researcher shall complete its research. The investigator shall require resources which includes human resource, assets of the company, finance and many more. Work breakdown structure and a Gantt Chart to provide time frames and stages for completion. Gantt Chart It is a toolwhich is graphical in nature thathelps in showing the task and activities of project which shall be performed against the allotted time. It isone of thevisual representation of project which breaks the project andshowthem on the chart so that it becomes easy and understandable. It is an important and popular tool for the project management whichhelpsin planning andprogrammingthe projectof differentsizes. Under this, the timelineof projectandthetask is converted intoahorizontal bar chart whichshows beginning and end dates together with the task which is completed at eachof thestage with the name of the task owner(Zhao, 2019).It builds relationship and dependency between various activities so that the progress of the project is easy to understand. It also helps in making the predictions and generalise the results to the wider population. This research helps in quantifying the problem by generating numerical data or any qualitative data which can be transformed to the statistics(Ameyaw and et. al., 2017).The researcher may have the options of bringing its findings into charts, figures or diagrams.The researcher shall use the quantitative research in this project with the help of both primary and secondary data collection. Data collection- It is the process which involves gathering or collecting thedataon the targetted variables in a systematic manner. It helps insanctioningthe research questions and evaluate the result in an appropriate manner(To, Au and Kan, 2019). The researcher shall have the option of survey, telephone or online method for collecting the databyprimary and secondary tool, The two methods of data collection which shall be used by the researcher are discussed below-Primary data tool- It refers to that kind of data which is collected directly form the source without getting involved with other existing sources. It is the original data which is collected by the researcher first hand in order to accomplish the research aims and objectives. Inrelationto this project, investigator shall use this data tool for achieving the aims and objectives of the research. In context to this project, the researcher shall have 10 respondents from the whole population who are the employees of Sainsbury.

Recommendations After analysis of the project, it is evaluated from theinformationcollected that talent management is themajorissue in the organization which is affecting the productivity of the companies. So it isessentialfor Sainsbury tochooserelevant strategy ofthetalent-management in order toattractitshigh qualityemployees. After analyzingthe whole scenario, it is recommended that - The organization must work on making the effective policies for the employees so that it can motivate the workforce to retain them. The company must work on continuous training and development in the organization so that the employees have improved performance which can result in high productivity. There must be effective communication channel in the company so that employee engagement can be promoted and workforce can easily share their issues and concerns in order to become organizational fit. TASK 4 Reflection After successfully completing the research project, I feel glad and happy that I got this chanceto enhance my learnings and knowledge. While undergoing this research, I felt that I haveusedmy communication skills whichassistedme in data collection so that I can draw accurate and relevant findings. I have successful achieved the aims of the research by collecting the information and data from the primary and secondary research. While collecting the data, there was few challenges which came in between which includes hesitation from the employee's side as they were unable to share their concerns. But through my convincing power I was able to make them comfort so that they can freely express their opinions and experience. This project research helped me in learning the problem solving skills and enhanced my decision making as I wasabletousethemtodrawmyfindings.Igottheopportunitytoidentifythatmy communication skills worked as my strength in successfully completing my project.
