P1 Aim and objectives for scenario
AIM: To analyse the role of diversity and equality policies of organization on employee’s
performance of case study of Tesco.
Objectives:
To understand diversity and equality at workplace (how are their policies).
To evaluate effectiveness of equality and diversity of employee’s performance in Tesco.
Research Question:
Question 1: Do you feel diversity and equality in organization?
Question 2: Is the company design any policies for equality and diversity?
Question 3: Is the diversified work culture and equality policies are beneficial?
Background: This research project is based on the Tesco Diversified work culture. According to
research it can be identified that diversity council set the diverse strategy for Tesco. Tesco has
very divers culture and it welcomes all types of peoples in their organization. That is also made
the culture of organization is different and diversified. Not only diversified culture is an
important in an organization but equality is very important (Nachmias, Ridgway and Caven,
2019). Company also focus the equality policies for treat their all employees equal and for
enhancing their performance. Because if organization is not focus on the equality than it will
create partiality and bias- ness within the firm. With the help of diversified culture and equality
organization is able to create healthier work culture.
P2 Project Management Plan
Project management plan is defined as the strategic description of various activities
which will be accomplish during the project. The plan helps to execute the research in
correct direction and with clear budget, time and goal specifications.
Cost: Cost is defined as the total expenditure used for the completion of project. In project
various expenses occur in research process, data collection and publishing the report. This
project will consume £250. The major expenditure of £200 occurs in collecting data from
journals, textbooks and questionnaire. The remaining amount is spent in development of
report and documentation.

Scope: The scope of this project is huge, and it is also beneficial for organization. With the help
of this project company can manage effective work culture. Because diversity is applicable at
every organization. If company use their organization diversity effectively, it is provided
healthier company environment.
Time: This project takes almost 6 weeks for completion. The time frame in project describes
the duration in which project is completed. It is important to keep a goal for time limit so
that project execution is not expanded unnecessarily and its utility and efficiency can be
maintained by timely submission.
Quality: Quality is defined as the distinctive or attributed characteristics of project.
Quality research is essential because it assures that the purpose and objectives of research
is met and study has been successful in achieving desired outcomes accurately and
effectively. The project is authentic. Because in this project will use all the data from the
employees of Tesco. That are provided effective and quality details about the organization
diversity and equality policies (Booysen, Bendl and Pringle, 2018). In this project will use
effective methods of research which are helpful for designing project more effective and
authentic.
Communication: Communication is defined as the exchange and sharing of knowledge,
concepts and ideas. It plays a vital role in project as by using effective communication
quality of project data can be improved and quality of research can be enhanced. For this
project will communicate with the employees and staff or the organization. For the diversity and
equality project will also discuss with the top management and authorities of the company.
Risk and Resources: This project can be risk-full if the using statistical data is wrong. So, it can
impact the result of this project. In this project will use authentic and provide proper information.
For this research will use company data and also collect data from interact with organization
employees. What is the risk
Financial resources / sources of funding: The research does not involve any risk factors and
is small scale project. Thus it is self funded and personal assets are used to complete it.
