INTRODUCTION
Managing successful business project is defined as an opportunities in that an individual
can determine their ability through implementing a project in effective manner with fulfilling the
requirement of the project (Cano, M., 2020). The present study initiates to determine the
potential strategies and initiates which are implemented by the businesses to build a diverse and
inclusive workforce. Thus equality and diversity are two major aspect that are requires to be
managed by the businesses for the purpose of attaining higher growth and success. Equality and
diversity are two distinctive perspective which characterizes as advancing fairness of chances
for all individuals at work place. On the opposite side, assorted variety is compelling in giving
every individual the opportunity to accomplish foreordained targets target which is liberated
from preference and segregation. In the present business situation organizations are mostly
centers towards actualizing reasonable procedures and activities worry over executing fitting
correspondence and assorted variety practices to advance the exercises of the firm, in this way, it
is important for the organizations to follow fairness and decent variety arrangements in regard to
advancing balance at work place.. Thus, in this present investigation work Nike is the chosen
organisation as it is a large multinational footwear company, as the overall study is based on
UK's sport industry, thus government of UK has taken an appropriate initiates to promote
equality in respect to encouraging participation.

In today's modern business environment, managing equality and diversity are recognised
to be the effective organisational challenge, which has direct impact over the activities and
movement of the business. In any case, Diversity and equality are incredibly dependable and are
incorporates over the territory of guaranteeing that every individuals in a business or venture has
same access to vocation advancement openings and increasing higher advancement with no
inclination or segregation being practiced against them inside the work environment

participation in promoting equality and diversity through implementing appropriate strategies
and initiatives for the purpose of rendering the effective options of each individual to career
growth without making differences on the basis of culture, gender, background and so on. Nike
Inc. is a large Americal multinational corporation which is mainly engaged in the design,
development, manufacturing and global marketing and sales of footwear, apparel, services,
equipment and accessories. The company was founded in the year of 1964 by the collaborative
efforts of Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. The headquarter of the firm is in Beaverton, Oregon,
United States and the company has its operations at all around the globe. The company mainly
deals in Athletic footwear & apparel, Athletic & recreational products, Sports equipment. The
company is having around 73100 employees and due to high range of employees it is important
for Nike Inc. to manage equality and diversity at workplace for the purpose of attaining higher
growth and success. For effective implementation of the investigation in right manner aim and
objectives are developed that are significant in reaching at the key results and outcome (Fine,
Sojo and LawfordSmith, 2020).
Research Aim
To examine the potential strategies and initiatives that are implemented by companies to
build a diverse and inclusive workforce. A case study on Nike.
Research Objectives
To explore wider understanding in regards to the area of equality and diversity in the
context of business.
To enhance recognition regarding the significance of managing diverse and inclusive
workforce within an organisation. To develop appropriate knowledge regarding the strategies implemented by Nike to build
diver and inclusive workforce.

duration in definite cost as well as limitations. Along with this, there is some importance of
project management is that it make sure what is delivering should be in appropriate manner.
Moreover, by managing project in effective manner real value will be deliver for gaining
business opportunities. This project is about equity and diversity within Nike. Thus, for ensuring
completing project in successful manner project plan will be design which will define particular
needs of project as well as also provide assistance in addressing those within effective manner
(Harry, 2020).

project. Moreover, project is formal document which explain how project will implement,

also identify that how training method will be essential for improving
performance of company as well as meeting international needs. Respective
project will further provide assistance in determining the ways which result
in growth and success of business.
Time In investigate, time refers to uncertain steady advancement of presence just
as occasions that happen inside apparently irreversible progression from past,
by present and to future. Inside research time is significant viewpoint which
determine that how much time will needed for completing project. For
completing this project there is requirement of approx. 4 months.
