INTRODUCTION
Globalisation can be defined as a process that could help a company in selling its
products or services across the boundaries in all over the world. Over the years it has been found
that, people’s mobility has been one of the most crucial aspect which impacted on global
economy in both positive and negative manner (Ahmed Dine Rabeh, Jimenez-Jimenez and
Martínez-Costa, 2013). Present assignment is going to discuss the concept of globalisation and
its effect on business organisations that are doing business at international level and this will also
show its impact on functions. Considering this, Jaguar company is being taken in this assignment
which is a multinational car manufacturing company established in England. Organisation was
established in the year around 1935 and since then they are giving their best services and
facilities to its customers. Present investigating report will keep its focus on aims and objectives
for the case scenario of Jaguar. It will also clearly show concept of research methodology so that
interpretation of accumulated results can be done. Lastly, a few recommendations are also going
to be included for enhancing the business market of this company at global level.

1. Economic Impact: Globalisation have contributed in enhancement of productivity with
the help of international trades. It has been analysed that mainly removal of trade barrier
have increased profitability. In relation with United Kingdom, globalisation has increased
the economic level of the countries as it has opened the gates for companies which has
enhanced the trading between various nations. Along with this, it has improved greater
competition.
2. Cultural Impact: Globalisation have opened chances bringing employees from different
country for implementing business activity in effective manner. This improves
productivity level of the company in effective manner. In addition to this, it also
contributes in developing multi culture working environment for employees. The greatest
example of globalisation in terms of cultural impact is that if employees will be from
different cultural backgrounds than better sales and profitability in a speculated time
frame. For instance: Japanese can perform the task in a systematic manner. Therefore,
this will assist Jaguar in providing better services and facilities to its customers.

3. Ethical Impact: While working in an organisation, it is important that company follow
all the rules and regulations so that activities can be done effectively. For example:
working in a corporate sector their main ethics is determined by how firms are reverting
to its customers for the services and facilities they are providing. Therefore, if Jaguar will

company.

performance of the firm. Jaguar is one of the multinational company across the globe and they
ruled for an era in the industry of motors and it is no doubt that they are continuing the same.
With the change in course of time, Jaguar made lots of innovation in their products so that
customers can have better experience while driving. Company has developed a lot of new
models considering the needs and requirements of customers. Globalisation has provided a
platform to Jaguar in not expanding their business but operating its business in an effective
manner. Although, company is regulating its business in an effective manner but there are some
complications like increase in competition and because of which of their reputations is going
down. Therefore, with the help of this research, researcher will get to know the impact of
globalisation in economic, cultural and ethnic factors within the business environment. As a
result, considering globalisation easily help Jaguar to enhance its profit margins, good brand
value and it can also it then in improving their market share with an ease. (Introducing Research

Project management plan is a formal or approved
document which helps organisation to manage and
control their activities. It is very essential to prepare a
development plan which includes each important
information related to development plan. As it
provides data related to estimated cost, time, risk,
scope etc. associated to the project. In case of Jaguar,
it will help in effective and efficient decision making
(Smith, Binns and Tushman , 2010). It will also help
Jaguar in identifying the positive impact of economic,
cultural, and ethical aspects of globalization on
functions of business-like Human resource,
Operations, Accounts & Finance and Marketing.
Development of a project management plan includes
various aspects which are as follows:
Cost This determines the amount that will be required for
accomplishing any kind of activities which are to be
performed. In context with the conducting the research
by company has evaluated an approximate amount of
18K and this will be enough. On the other hand, for
expanding business Jaguar will have to spend an

amount of £150 million for providing better services
and facilities. (Den Hertog, Van der Aa and De Jong,
2010).
Scope It identifies the opportunities associated with project in
future or long term. As it will help Jaguar in enhancing
their business or operational activities by taking
advantage of available opportunities. By analysing
impact of different aspects of globalization, company
will enable to provide better services to its consumers.
With globalisation, most of the companies has gained
the opportunities of expanding its business in other
parts of the world where they have not expanded yet or
Jaguar can think of providing facilities other than
transport.
Time It is very essential element of ever project, as it
identifies the total time for performing each and every
activity of project. In the process of globalisation and
its implementation will take almost 1 year. In case of
Jaguar, this project will take 46 days for finishing all
tasks and this will also help in completing activities in
given time frame.
Quality In order to make research more appropriate it is
important that entire process is being done in an
effective manner. Therefore, with the help of this
research, investigator will get to know about what kind
of services and facilities company is providing .
Whether it is fulfilling all the demands and

not be applicable for Jaguar as it is big company and
expanding its business cannot be a big deal for them.

with respondents can be one major risk because there
might be a possibility that respondents don’t agree to
respond to their questions. As a result, this can put an
impact on collecting appropriate data and information
for evaluating a valid conclusion. (Eckerson, 2010).
