organisation and project management plan will also be formulated that cover several essential
aspects including risk and resources. In the last, Small scale research will also focused in
upcoming report through the use of primary and secondary methods.

The topic on which i conducted my research was on the strategies and initiatives that an
organisation can take so that an inclusive and diverse workforce can be created in the company. I
conducted my research on Marks and Spencer which is a major leading multinational retailer and
sells high quality clothing, home products and food products. While doing my research project i
learnt about the importance of having an inclusive and diverse workforce in a company and how
can this help the companies like M&S in increasing their profits and building string brand image
in the market. I used my research skills, analytical knowledge, interpretation skills so that i could
use my knowledge in determining the best strategies that can be used by the company to have a
working environment where different people can work together. I first analysed the importance
of equality in company which means that equal opportunities are given to all the employees
irrespective of their age, sex, caste, religion, culture etc. I then analysed the importance of
diversity where employees having different experiences, skills, talents, backgrounds etc. work
together. Then with the help of research tools i determined the response of the employees of
company to the questionnaire so that the importance of equality and diversity can be evaluated
which can help in determining the strategies and initiatives through which these can be
implemented.
During this research my communication skills, data collection skills and analytical skills
developed that can help me in getting future projects which can help in my personal and
professional development. With the research certificate at M&S i can get more research projects
that can help me financially and also i can get admission in my desired college for further
studies. I faced certain problems during this project like time management and utilising resources
to gain best results. Also i faced problems in team management which i used to deal with my
effective communication skills. I also used research tools like WBS and Gantt Chart so that
accurate results can be achieved and time and resources can be efficiently managed. I used the
help of my teachers in selecting the topic for conducting research and also on using the tool and
techniques in an efficient manner. Also the sampling method was difficult which i handled
productivity to conduct and manage work according to recognize of their needs and match them
with objectives and aim of project.
