P4 Small scale research through primary and secondary methods
Small scale research is performed in order to conduct efficient knowledge about a
particular aspect so that the procedure of learning is done in a systematic manner(de Melo and
et.al, 2021). There are two types of method used by researcher in order to fulfil all tasks which is
further been explained as below:- Quantitative method:- It refers to a method in which a measurement is done with the
help of numerical, statistical analysis and data is gathered with the support of
questionnaire, surveys and many more(Klakegg, Pollack and Crawford, 2021).
Qualitative method:- It is defined as a method in which whole data is gathered through
interviews, questionnaire, facts and so on. It also includes the collection of non-numerical
data and in accordance with this relative ideas are determined.
Sources of data collection:- Primary sources:- It is defined as a source which a researcher uses to collect accurate
information in a very simple manner. It involves the procedure of ending and desirable
outcomes in a particular way. Though it is a time consuming process but it provides
accurate data as it involves surveys, questionnaire and so on.
Secondary resources:- It is considered as a method of data collection in which all details
are gathered from articles, magazines, books and many more. It is not a time consuming
method and provides a balanced level of efficiency.
