The Blackmore’s Company is an Australian based health and supplement company that was founded in the year 1930 by the
Naturopath Maurice Blackmore. The brand Blackmore’s is an Australia most trusted brand in the field of vitamins, minerals and various other
nutrient supplements that the company offers. The company operates primarily in Australia, New Zealand and Asia whereby it provides a
range of herbal products, minerals and other nutrient supplements (Rodrigues and Rodrigues 2018).
Executive summary: 300 words
The financial analysis of the company has been done for the Blackmore’s Company with the help of ratio analysis a quantitative
assessment tool that in turn helps in better assessment of the financial performance and the financial position of the company. The business
operations and the various courses of actions which the company undertakes has also been analysed for the purpose of reviewing the wide
range of business activities that is undertaken in order to increase its revenue base and profitability on a whole basis. The analysis of the
company in terms of wide range of products offered, the strategy applied by the management of the company for the purpose of well
analysing the financial statements of the company. The financial statement in particular has been taken for a period of three years from the
year 2016-2018 for the purpose of better analysis of the company. Liquidity aspects of the company stating the amount of current assets the
company is having with respect to the current liabilities has been stable for the stating that the company is taking appropriate actions for the
purpose of well improving the same. On the other hand, profitability aspect of the company has been well analysed using net profit as a key
assessment tool for the purpose of better analysis of the company. Efficiency on the other hand, has been well calculated stating the firm’s
ability in well managing the assets and resources done by the management of the company. Finally, the share market performance of the
company has been better analysed with the analysed with the help of Price to Earnings Ratio, which has increased on a comparative basis for
the company. The historical performance of the company has been better taken into consideration for the purpose of well analysing the future
trend that is expected for the company.
