The high performance work system is considered to be as an effective strategy which isutilised by manager in a company for motivating workers to increase their participation inbusiness activities. Human resource management team in an enterprise make trainingarrangement for workers in order to support employees in conducting various businessoperations. The high performance work system is implemented at workplace in order toencourage employees to improve their performance. It is the general approach which is adoptedby human resource management team for managing people as well as their activities within anenterprise. High performance work system helps management team in ensuing employeescommitment and loyalty towards their work. Human resource management team has to facevarious issues and challenges.The purpose of the project is to identify the several problems faced by the humanresource team in maintaining high performance work culture in an organisation.MAIN BODYHuman resource manager has several and very important role to play in a company. Thescope of their roles as well as responsibilities has increase with change in passage of time.Human resource manager also act as strategic business partner, as there function in an enterpriseis to formulate plans, policies and strategies for business. Human resource management team inan organisation is responsible for bringing positive change at workplace. Developing as well asmaintaining the high performance work culture at workplace is the main task of human resourcemanager. Human resource management team in an enterprise has to face major challengesrelated to managing workforce. These problems are mainly associated with diversity, lawaffecting the business operations , technical matters etc. (Grant, Wallace and Spurgeon, 2013)As administration experts human resource manager have knowledge as well as understandingabout the important procedures of providing reward , hiring and recruiting employees. In earliertime , the role of the human resource manager in a company is limited to hiring as well asrecruiting the employees. Observation techniques were used by the human resource managementteam for measuring as well as managing the employees' performance at workplace. But with thepassage of time, there has been change as well as increase in the roles and responsibilities ofhuman resource manager. During the earlier time,, use of inappropriate techniques ofperformance management , the management has to face as well deal with major issues such as2
