competitive performance of Persil will be discussed. A new marketing plan will be prepared in

1.6 Competitive performance of PERSIL
1.6.1 Sales Growth
According to the data, the competition in the market is growing day by day. In the year 2013, the
sales growth of Persil was 9% which has been growing 12% in the year 2015 and grown up to
20% in the year 2016. The brand Kimberly Clark gained 6% sales growth in the year 2013 and it
was 9% in 2015 and 5% in the year 2016. And lastly, Johnson and Johnson have gained 4%
share in the year 2013 which has been grown to 14% in the year 2015 and 5% in 2016.

According to the data in the year the gross profit of Persil was 50% which has been increased

30% in the year 2015. And the gross profit of Johnson and Johnson was 70% in the year 2013
and it has been decreased to 69% in the year 2014 and again raised to 71% in the year 2016.

compared to Johnson and Johnson, this company has gained lots of gross profit. The brand
Kimberly Clark is having loser gross profit than Persil. So the overall business performance of
Persil is very much good then its competitors.
