Introduction
Leaning and development plays a major role in building self-confidence in individual
so that he or she can learn new things to make progress (Ukkonen-Mikkola and et.al.,2022).
The progress will lead in future to achieve desired goals and being a student, it is must to
measure the learning process in every phase of life. Whether for personal development or
achievement of desired goals and with the help of this essay, various skills that is time
management, meeting skills, teamwork, presentation skills, emotional intelligence and many
others will be presented which has developed the learners in order to be a better student with
the help of this module. The essay will also demonstrate the additional ways which will be
used to handle the future issues in relation to the university course expectations.
Main Body
Self-development is the process by which each of us learns more about ourselves and pushes
ourselves to reach our goals. With the intention of becoming a better version of ourselves,
this entails acquiring new routines, pastimes, and abilities to adhere to a strategy and hit the
goals. Here are some skills that I want to acquire for my career, personal life, and academic
studies.
Problem-solving is one of the most common and significant skills that anybody should have
acquired, thus anyone who wants to advance must seek to enhance this skill. With the help of
this module, I have been knowledgeable about a variety of strategies for dealing with
situations in a constructive and composed manner (Linder,2019). These possible situations
are based on my personal observations and improvised methods for tackling problems. As a
result of developing this skill, I've learnt how to communicate properly, listen intently, create
strategies for problems, and many other things. The learners who want to adapt to changes in
their everyday lives and employment must possess adaptation skills. It can be seen that some
struggle to adapt when habits and everyday tasks for a living change.

For instance, I can adjust to changes in my daily routine, the setting I learn in, and the place I
work in thanks to these skills. My value is increased by these skills since they make me more
flexible to changes in many areas of my life. Additionally, it helps me maintain focus on my
process of self-development by helping me learn about, adapt to, and deal with a range of
quick changes. Furthermore, my personal goal is to improve my communication abilities so
that I may be ready for any event or situation. My ability to effectively express my thoughts
and ideas as well as comprehend information coming from the other end is supported by
successful communication. I can engage with individuals in society and my co-workers at
work thanks to this ability. A key requirement for coordination and cooperation among
individuals and organisations working together is effective communication. This essential
ability will therefore play a significant role in my personal growth and ability to attain my
goals in life. Along with it, time management is necessary to ensure the successful
completion of the aforementioned tasks in order to perform better and save time in the
competitive workplace. My time management abilities were enhanced by taking part in these
activities. By saying no to pointless requests, I developed my ability to set priorities for my
job and boundaries. By learning new things, I was able to gather information that is relevant
to the creation and promotion of products (Johnston,Highfield and Hadley, 2018).
I've always wished to increase my time management abilities in useful ways so that I
may continue to grow. I started my days early and became more punctual for occasions,
trying to spend my time as efficiently as possible. Along with it, I also gained knowledge
about meeting etiquette, including how to schedule a meeting, what should be on the agenda,
and how much time should be allotted to complete duties. Additionally, I learnt how to
introduce myself, welcome everyone, and walk through the agenda item by item. To ensure
that a meeting runs smoothly, there is a certain method and information gathering points. I

gained knowledge on how to implement various workplace concepts at all levels to improve
and increase the effectiveness of meetings. In relation to the own personal growth, a creative
mindset is essential for future events. To complete the tasks and activities that have been
allocated it is must to keep in mind that the environment is changing quickly (Balanchivadze
and Bzikadze, 2021).
An individual can improve this skill with the aid of experiences and their own capacity for
thought. The ability to complete tasks and activities in a variety of fresh ways leads to
innovation. The improvement of my innovative approach to work completion for
improvement and increased efficiency will boost my profession and future chances.
Additionally, this module focuses on students' ideas and views that need to be explored in
order to give students experience that will be helpful for future events. Students' self-
confidence in speaking in front of others to explain and justify their statements as well as
their experiences is boosted by the justification of their thinking and reflection on their
experiences. I was able to deal with a variety of activities to experience and get better with
frequent practise thanks to the learning and notes that were given to me (Balaban, Ö. and
Fasal, A., 2018).
Conclusion
It is clear from the above-mentioned essay that improving a learner's performance
requires them to acquire new skills. A proper plan is necessary to monitor and analyse a
number of elements, including time management, meeting skills, communication skills,
teamwork, and emotional intelligence, in order to improve business skills and competences.
A vital strategy for a better grasp of concepts and contents is the learning process. With this
learning strategy, I will make sure to apply my knowledge to a variety of real-world tasks and
activities that will improve and advance me as a person. It aids in boosting my drive for
academics because it helps me absorb various facts and knowledge more effectively. This
broad and expansive idea of learning encompasses all kinds of knowledge, abilities, moral
behaviour, and skills, among many others.
