1. Explain what are UNLAWFUL INTERFERENCE WITH AVIATION
Unlawful interferences are recognized a considerable danger to aviation safety. International
community has witnessed disastrous potential of certain acts in numerous accidents. Unlawful
interferences in international civil aviation are a principal area of anxiety to world community
both as recognized threat towards world peace as well as security. It is considered as grave
social malady, which necessitates a fast cure. The unlawful interference has been defined as the
act or attempt of acts which may include jeopardize the safety of civil aviation which might
include the following but is not limited to the following statements
seizure of aircraft through unlawful means
aircraft got destructed while servicing it
hostage – taking on board aircraft or it may be aerodromes
while boarding forcible intrusion applied or exercised, at an airport or within the
premises of an aeronautical facility
Introduction of a weapon or hazardous device while boarding an aircraft or at an airport.

It has been stated under the unlawful interference that it may include the “unlawful and
intentional deaths of the passengers and crew members but the word murder would not be
implied in the aviation safety.”
The culture of euphemisms is followed in aviation which states that plain speaking is to be
avoided when discussing unwanted or unwelcomed outcomes. When the aero planes go missing
in the air they are termed in a polished and blanket of words as “loss of separation”. Since the
trainings, the pilots are not “lost” but are “temporarily unsure of position.” it is said that “plane
speaking is not always plain speaking”.
The unlawful interference in aviation has been gaining importance in the last few years due to
the increasing application of such acts and the regulation framed for controlling this has helped
in controlling the unlawful actions that has been taking place in the aviation industry. The
aviation industry along with the increasing growth of then industry the need for controlling the
unlawful actions has been emerging and this brought in the need for the unlawful interference
act, which helps in controlling such acts and actions which may harm the passengers and the
laws of the aviation. The unlawful interference has been one of the major steps in the industry
and it has helped in delivering services with no interruptions and no delays which has increased

or added on to the goodwill of the industry (Quddus, 2016). The globalization of the world has
spread the working area of each industry which has been the cause of increasing unlawful acts
and along with the need for the concerned act. The execution of the actions in the industry has
beome smooth and easy to deliver, due to the imposition of the act and if it continues with the
same dedication and charm then in the future the act would help in delivering services with zero
number of accidents or any disturbance.
