Executive Summary
The interactive system of Amazon helps in making interaction between the users and the
computer system. The interactive system performs different tasks, which helps the user. The
designing of the interactive system comes with a graphic interface that improves the search
engine of the online shopping website Amazon. It is seen that the online shopping websites as
well as the recommendations it gives have improved in the last few years. The online
shopping website acting as an interactive system relies mostly on the preferences made by the
users. The interactive system involves a method of evaluation, which helps in receiving the
feedback made by the users. Therefore, the interaction between humans and the computer
system is considered as one of the important elements of an interactive system.

The Interactive System and its Users
Interactive system is a system that helps in interaction between human beings and
machines. Computer System is known as the interactive system. The interaction happens with
the help of certain specific responses (Gao et al., 2015). The reports discusses about Amazon
as an interactive system. Amazon contains search engine based user interactive systems. The
interactive system is composed of different parts. There are total of two parts. The two parts
are user interface and other part is the function kernel part. The user interface comprises the
hardware and the software elements. In short, interactive system helps in interaction between
the user and the organizer and among the people involved in between. The designing of the
interactive system always comes with the graphic user interface, as it is one of the important
steps required for the development of the online websites related to shopping. It is important
to see that the users are satisfied with the interactive system (Riedl and Bulitko 2013). The
interactive system consists of different fields. The usability of an application system can only
be determined after knowing whether the system can work both effectively and efficiently.
The interactive system need to free from all the obstacles. The user interactive system is
based on the feedback received from the users.

The Usability Requirements
The usability requirements comprises of a different template to develop the online
system of shopping. There are five usability requirement that are discussed. The first
requirement being the project drivers (Karakotsios and Ivanchenko 2014). The main aim of
the project is related to development under preferences and limitations. The project is made
in a way so that the users are able to register and create an account as per their requirements.
The second requirements is related to the project limitations. Under project, limitations there
are three important points for discussing. The mandate limitation, there are certain online
websites related to shopping that provide the result on the bases of the alternatives. However,
the customer always desires to buy the products that matches their budgets. In order to much
this usability requirement the system used by Amazon need to be implemented with such

tools that can work on it. The users requires certain unique keywords and logos in order to
differentiate and make the search easier. The mixed ways of the preferences are both
quantitative and qualitative which helps the users in experiencing better search (Pham and
Jung 2013). There are certain relevant facts related with the online shopping websites. For
example is a user wants to add a certain item there is an option with the help of which the
item can be added to the basket. The clarity about the link need to be presented in such a way
so that by clicking the user is able to identify what needs to be done. The third usability
requirement is related with the function. The online website of the Amazon needs to be
simple and flexible so that the system can easily obtain all the feedback and is able to make
the required changes. The business model and the scope related to the product is also
important. The functional requirement helps the users in searching a particular product. The
functional requirement comprises of three different layers the first layer is the graphic
interface, the second is the business layer and the last layer being the database layer (Perlman
and Peltier 2017). The fourth usability requirement is the non-functional requirement. The
requirement deals with the operational, environment related, maintenance, humanity,
performance and support requirements. The fifth usability requirement deals with the issues
related to the project. The issues are related to the task, user documentation, training, cost
related to the online shopping websites and the risk that can happen.
The Evaluation Methodology
The evaluation methodology comprises different steps. There are four different steps.
The first step of evaluation is the heuristic interface evaluation that use the criteria of
ergonomic. The second step of evaluation is the online identification and experience
questionnaire. The third step of evaluation is related to the user experience and related to the
interface interaction. The fourth step of evaluation is related to the satisfaction questionnaire
(À Campo et al., 2018). Evaluation and testing plays a major role in the development of

website process. The usability tests helps in gathering information. The heuristic evaluation is
a method, which is quick, cheap and convenient to use. The heuristic evaluation requires a
small set containing testers that analyse the interface and judges the recognised principles of
usability. The main aim is to identify the usability issues related to the interactive system.
The characteristic of the heuristic evaluation are based on informal assessment. The second
evaluation is the based on the questionnaire. The designing of a questionnaire needs lots of
detailed knowledge about a particular website. The researchers need to have a sound
knowledge about the websites. The designer need to have a knowledge that is reliable
enough and obeys are the different aspects required for the effective working of the websites
(Bhutkar, Patwardhan and Jadhav 2015). The third evaluation is related to the user
experience. In this evaluation different method, skulls and tools are collected so that the
preferences and the limitations of the users are easily identified. The evaluation comprises of
different dimensions, which provides the best solution. The best ways in which the goals can
be achieved requires correct approach toward the evaluation, proper collection of data,
granularity related to use interface and overall setup of the requirements. The fourth
evaluation is related to the satisfaction of the users. The questionnaire interface is a tool that
helps in identifying the customer’s satisfaction with the computer based interactive systems.
This evaluation process uses the method of questionnaire in order to rate the interactive
system. This evaluation method undergoes several steps. For using the tools, the system
undergoes several steps. Identification of the user sample, then representing task in different
category. After the completion of the first two steps the briefing session goes on, the task is
performed, demonstration is carried out and the last steps involves the global calculation (Cao
and Dong 2014). The methodology is carried out with the help of expertise. The users using
the tools are well trained and are experienced in the field of interactive system. The
evaluation comprises of both advantages and the disadvantages. The advantages are the

evaluation are effective when the size of the sample is small, the data provided is strong
enough if the sample used is correct. The evaluation method is easy, quick to apply and
requires less training. The evaluation helps in receiving the feedback of the users’ opinions
and the impact of the system. The disadvantage is that the system is limited to human and
computer interaction only. The evaluation methodology helps in the productivity of the
interactive system.
The Evaluation
The evaluation comprises of a particular framework. Evaluation is considered as one
of the important elements in the interactive system. It collects the data from the users so that
the system can be improved. The framework comprises of several steps. For the Amazon
interactive system, the evaluation consists of six steps (Ciesla et al., 2015). The first
evaluation step is related with the goals. The steps helps in determining the goals. The online
websites must be capable of given correct recommendations and helps the user by providing
them with the requirements they demand. The websites must provide lists of the related items
based on the interests of the users. The second step involved in the evolution is related with
the design of the system. The system must be simple, user friendly, effective and efficient.
The online website needs to be easily accessible. Amazon provides a platform for the user to
evaluate and give their feedbacks so that the organization can improve their functions and
interfaces features if required. The third step involves the identification of the evaluation
methods (Krivopaltsev 2014). The evaluation methods will help in the collection of
information from the users and will help in improving the interactive system. The fourth step
involves the identification of the practical issues that are related to the systems. The users
interacting with the websites are mostly from the generation comprising of young adults,
teens and senior people. The fifth step involved in the evaluation is related to dealing. The
evaluation is mostly concerned about how to deal with the issues related to ethics. It deals

available online. The sixth step involves the process of evaluating, analyse, interpretation and
presentation of the data. After the users are done with all the process and the feedback is

2014). The usability evaluation states the extent to which an interactive system can be
implemented. Usability can be stated as the properties related to interaction between digital
technologies. The methods involved in the evaluation process are the ideal ones. There are
number of fields that are included in the interactive systems. Understandings the results of
usability in different process gives enough knowledge. The evaluators doing the process of
evaluation need to know the correct ways of evaluating. The evaluations process need to be
more designed and the designer requires different choice for designs (Hahn and Albritto
2014). In the late 90s, it was observed that there was changes in the usability properties and
its requirements. In order to obtain the desire requirement a template was introduced and
from that, the specifications of suitable requirements were done. The framework of the
interactive system was redesigned with the help of high fidelity prototyping system. The main
purpose behind the interactive system is to provide quality customer experience, where all the
users are satisfied with the interactive system. The service was incorporated with an
individual sight of the online shopping websites. The high fidelity prototyping that is used for
Amazon comes with the preferences and limitations. The main page of the websites
comprises of four different sections. The four different sections are PL, MPC, Evaluation
Form and Reviews (Thomas et al., 2018). The MPC comprises of three different types of
preferences. The three different preferences are quantitative, qualitative and the mixture of
both qualitative and quantitative. In the section of the PL, the system is able to learn different
preferences made by the users and the order interests are also shown so that the interactive
system can perform according to the requirements. The system according to the requirement

objective of the user interactive system is to receive all the positive and negative feedbacks of
the users. The evaluation is done with the help of a decision-making framework and the

helped in the evaluation comprises of different specifications. The specifications related to
the limitations of the project, the drivers involved in the project, the functional requirements,
the non-functional requirements and the issues that are related with the projects. There are
several steps involved in the evaluation. If a user wants to search a product. The user need to
create an account and after the successful completion of the account. The user login and
select the product with the required features. The users than enters the budgets and
accordingly after the evaluation the lists of products falling under that list is presented. Such
type is known as the quantitative prototype method. On the other hand, when the users are
able to add their products to the baskets so that they can have access to it when they require
such type of prototype is known as quantitative prototype (Soares-Filho, Rodrigues and
Follador 2013). The process of evaluation helps in comparing one interactive systems from
other interactive systems. The interactive design system is completely based upon the
preferences and the limitations of the users. The major concern of an interactive system is to
check the customer needs and demands. The evaluation helps in improving the interactive
system and makes it more interactive. The suggestion made by the interactive system is
completely based on the preferences and the search done by the users. Interactive system
obtains the feedback and makes the system more effective and efficient in a way so that it is
easier for both the users and the people operating the interactive systems (Cerón 2013).
The Findings of the Evaluation
The evaluations helps in identifying all the functionality of the interactive systems. It
also helps in identifying the two psychological factors. The two psychological factors

consists of two different dimension related with the online customers experiences related to
the interactive systems (Zahran et al., 2014). The functionality part comprises of all the
technical attributes that are completely based on the websites. The part related to the trust,

proposed in order to find the results of the evaluation. The model helped in identification of
the entire individual importance that a customer’s holds. The experience completely differs,
as the experience is different for different stages. The experiences before and after the
transaction is completely different in case of the online website shopping. Moreover, the
evaluation also revealed the occurrence of some of the important and key factors that are
related to the online experience of the customers (Fornaciari and Poesio 2014). The
evaluation demonstrate that online shopping is concerned with both the customers’
preferences and the limitations. The evaluation helps in studying the shopping pattern of
different genders and generations. The evaluation also stated that the more is the budget, the
more is the preference for online shopping. Certain limitations are there related to the
Amazon interactive system, that provides scope for future research. The evaluation method is
very interesting as it provides help in investigating about the customers’ feedback and helps
in buying local products. In order to achieve the required specification a particular template
named Volere is used (Plechawska-Wojcik 2014). The evaluation concluded that the users
are satisfied with the user interactive system of Amazon. The design need to design in such a
way so that it provides effective and efficient use of the interactive system. The interactive
system is user friendly as it helps in making the selection as per the preferences and
limitations of the users. The search engine should be in such a way so that the client are
dissatisfied. The companies need to take care that the clients are able to understand the
interactive system and are able to utilize the features provided by the interactive system. The
evaluation concluded that the interactive system plays a crucial role in the online websites.

also helps in finding relationship between the aesthetics related to the websites and with the
online shopping. It also helps in understanding the relationship between the securities issues
related to website with the online shopping. It evaluates the relationship between the
interactivity with the online shopping. It was also observed from the evaluation that there are
many other factors influencing the decisions of the customers. The factors are related to the
complexity in the site, delay acquisition period, less interactivity and the quality of the
products (Thomas et al., 2013). The factors affects the willingness of the customer toward
certain products. After the evaluation, it is observed that the interactive system improves the
online shopping websites. The Ecommerce is rising and the involvement of online shoppers is
increasing. The decision framework helps in the evaluation of the interactive system. After
understanding the findings of the evaluation, the interactive system can be improved in a way
that can provide more customers satisfaction. The evaluation outcomes also helps in
comparing different interactive systems. The evaluation helps the sellers in introducing more
product on the online websites. However, the evaluation helps in the overall development of
the interactive systems.
