SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE The user interface of the traveller information system is designed for the mobile platform because the information system is developed targeting the mobile users and it should support a range of mobile devices that are used by the users for getting the real time estimation of the traffic to reach the destination location on time. The design of the user interface is kept simple such that the users does not face any complexity while using the information system.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE Section 3: Sequence diagram Section 4: System Test Plans Unit testA testing should be done for the small pieces of the software elements and the errors should be eliminated for the generating a quality software product. API testThe API’s should be tested that are created for the application development. Integration testThe modules should be developed individually and it should be tested as a group to achieve a

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE Section 5: Cloud based Architecture IaaS cloud architecture should be used for the development of the network solution because it provides a virtualization of the resources that includes the load balancing, clustering and backup servers. It is cost efficient and able to operate on high workloads and eliminating the cost of additional infrastructure required for the development of the traveller information system. The data can be shared with the users using the cloud based solution and integrated with the information system for improvement of the accuracy of the system.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE Section 6: Functional Solutions For the development of the functional solution the process flow for each of the steps of the network should be analysed and the design goals vs the system feature matrix should be compared for the development of the traveller information system. The following information attributes are applied for the development of the functional solution and listed below: Availability of the information system – The users connected with the information system should be to access the information system from remote location from any hand held devices. Contextual filtering – the data that are exactly needed by the users should be shared with them. For the removal of the unnecessary data a context filtering should be applied. Use of Ambient data – The application of IoT helps in utilizing certain data types such as map data that can be used for getting direction to reach the destination location. The IoT can also be used for getting the traffic data and it can be merged with the route to alert the user and estimate the time needed for reaching the destination point. Integration ability – The information of the traveller should be integrated with the other data for processing the data and produce a result. For example a multimodal data can be used for getting the availability of the routes by combining the traffic data. Issues – there are different issues such as data type issue, coverage issue and integration issue that should be overcome for getting the desired functionality. The data sets should be sufficient for getting the desired functionality. Cross jurisdictional integration should be analysed for supporting the intermodal or inter regional travelling for the users. Section 7: System Processes and Work Practices The following steps should be followed in the current business for ensuring the successful implementation of the system processes. Design, develop and build –A project plan should be created for the development of the pilot system and validation of the business process and getting all the functionality of the system. Training, testing and accept -The employees working in the organization should be provided training utilizing the test data used for migration from the previous system. The results obtained from the testing and the training should be reviewed for obtaining the goals and objectives of the organization.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE System Support –The existing framework of the network should be evaluated for ensuring optimum delivery of the data and recommendation of specific hardware and software required for the development of the traveller information system.
