Introduction
The use of information technology is using rapidly. Emerging technology has been used
in different sectors which is not bounded to information technology. The use of technology is
adopted by the automobile industry making this industry more advanced to handle the real life
situations effectively. In this context, the CEO of Volkswagen as discussed the use of the
quantum computing in the organization. The main objective of this paper is to analyze the
discussion conducted by the Volkswagen group and make a conclusion about the future of the
quantum computing in this organization. The main objective of this discussion is to identify the
themes in the interview and their relevance in the discussion. The future direction of the research
has been discussed from both technical and business perspective. The conclusion can be drawn
from the analysis.
Discussion
In the discussion there are certain themes like controlling the flow of traffics and
optimization have been discussed. However, the main theme of this interview is application of
quantum computing in the organization and its application on making the cars. This organization
has offices in 100 countries around the World. This car company is famous for the products of
high quality and standards. Apart from that the implementation of the advanced functioning units
in the cars has improved the brand value of this organization.
Company’s recent IT history :
Volkswagen is a German company famous for manufacturing the automobiles and cars
in the industry. It has been recognized as the largest selling automobile company for 2016 and

2017. The brand name of this organization imposes certain responsibilities on this company to
produce standard products. The organization uses TSI petrol engines which are responsive. The
innovation of TDI diesel engines is done by Volkswagen. Apart from that the organization is
also implementation the electric cars and hybrid cars those are well equipped with advanced
technologies and have improvised functionalities.
The organization is mainly famous for making the cars, however , the services this
organization offers are spread over different sectors of the automobile industry. Some of these
fields are solving the parking related problems and proximity sensing. The smart parking
technique of cars manufactured by Volkswagen includes park assists, park sensors and rear
view. Apart from that the organization is concerned about the comfort level of the cars. In this
case, the air conditioning of the car , dashboard display and raining sensors have been improved
by this organization.
The main application of the technology is done for the enhancement of the safety and
security of the car. In this context, the advanced braking and stability system, providing the air
bag inside the car and tyre pressure and flat tyre sensors are useful innovation of this
organization.

organization. The quantum computing will enhance the digital efficiency of the projects in this
organization. The use of this technology is different from the traditional computing and it can
help to develop innovative programs.
