Introduction
The use of advanced technology has enabled the use of emerging technology in the
different sectors of the industry. The use of IoT is one of those emerging technologies those
are used for the different purpose in the organization. It has been seen that with the help of
advanced technology like IoT the efficiency of the organization can be increased (Perera, Liu
and Jayawardena 2015). Apart from that the time frame for the production can be shortened
with the help of IoT.
The main objective of this paper is to evaluate the different aspects of the IoT in the
industry. Through this evaluation the significance of usingIoT in the industry can be
accessed. Apart from that the benefits and the challenges of using the IoT for different
industry are needed to be evaluated through the system.
It has been seen that there can be gap in the literature regarding this topic. The
research questions will help to mitigate the gap in a proper way. Apart from that the
challenges and the opportunities regarding the use of IoT have been explained through the
paper.
Background
IoT is an emerging technology which is used for the development of the innovative
ideas. These ideas are helping the business organizations to increase the efficiency in a proper
way. Apart from that the use of the IoT has reduced the human errors in the functionality.
The IoT driven technology can be described as the interconnection between the
devices. It has been seen that with the use of internet of things, the devices and the equipment
can be controlled from the distance places. This increase the flexibility of the overall system.

Another use of the internet of things is in the semi-automatic car. It has been seen that
the IoT has helped in the development of the different features in the driverless cars. It has
been seen that the use of the IoT will help the users of the car to navigate through the road in
a proper way (Yaqub, Al-Nasser and Sheltami 2019). Apart from that the implemented IoT
system in car will help the users to make the decision about taking the route on the basis of
the traffics in the road.
The use of IoT is applicable in the government sectors. The government are initiating
the e-governance process with the help ofIoT. Apart form that the use of IoT can be
applicable for the smart city initiative taken by the government.
The use IoT is also used in the weather detection system. Apart from that the use of
this technology is done for the further improvement of the researches on the different
innovation. It has been seen there are researches on the further improvement of the
application of IoT.
Some of the advantages of using the IoT in the organization is that the use of IoT
increase the efficiency of the organization. Apart from that the use of IoT can be used in the
demanding and sensitive sectors like health care domain (Issarnyet al. 2016). Apart from that
there is a chance that the flexibility of the health care system can be increased through the use
of the IOT in the health care system. Through the implementation of the IoT in the
organization, the patient can be monitored from the distance place by the doctor and the
health care professionals.
There are certain challenges regarding the use of IoT in the health care system. It has
been seen that the use of the IoT can be the reason of the violation of data security if thee
security protocols are not maintained in a proper way. Apart from that, it has been seen that

most of the intruders are choosing the IoT devices and systems for getting the access of the
devices.
According to Mao, Zhengm and Wu,(2019), the main reason for choosing the IoT
device for getting unauthorized access is that the characteristics of the IoT. The main
characteristics of IoT is that the technology makes the connectivity between various devices.
In this situation, getting access of one device can make the intruders to access other devices
and collect the data and information from those devices which are confidential in nature.
Apart from that if the maintenance of the devices are not handled in a proper way,
there is a chance that the system will generate wrong outcome (Burhanuddinet al. 2018).
Apart from that there are some ethical issues raised regarding the use of the IoT. In some
cases, it has been seen that the IoT driven devices are given much responsibility those are not
handled in a proper way.
The background section will be responsible for the evaluation of the different
perspective of IoT on the basis of the literature review. It has been seen that there are certain
problems regarding the use of the IoT system in the organization (Mukherjee et al. 2017).
Apart from that, it has been seen that there are specific advantages of using the IoT system
those can be used in the different industry.
The main objective of this paper is to evaluate the different perspective of the IoT in
the health care organization (Aliyuet al.2018). In order to evaluate this the advantages and
disadvantages of the using the IoT in different sectors are needed to be discussed. From the
review of the literature these attributes of the IoT can be identified.
It has been seen that the use of the IoT can extensively increase the efficiency of the
functionalities in the different sectors from the different industries. Apart from that it has
been seen that the use of the IoT can be helpful for the health care domain (Roshan and Ray

2016). From the review of literature it has been seen that the significant improvement of the
health care industry can be achieved from the implementation of the IoT. This indicates the
topic for the further research.
Another idea of using IoT in the industry is the use of IoT in driverless cars. It has
been seen that the IoT driven devices are extensively used in the semi-automatic cars
(Rahman et al 2018). These systems are helping the driver to take the right path while
driving. Apart from that the smart system developed from the use of IoT can help the driver
to choose the shortest path with less traffic pressure.
Apart from that the IoT in the government sector has been described in a proper way
through the review of the literature. It has been seen that the government can implement the
concept of the smart cities through the implementation of the IoT system.
The discussion indicates that the use of IoT can be done for different purpose. Apart
from that in the discussion the mention of the different perspective along with the possible
application sectors of IoT have described in a proper way (Bouyakoubet al. 2017). From this
it can be said that the review of the literature is justified for the topic as the topic regarding
the use of different perspective of IoT in the industry.
Moreover, the review of the literature helps to raise some open questions regarding
the use of IoT in the system. It has been seen from the review that there are some constraints
regarding the use of IoT for different functionalities. Certain steps are needed to be
maintained in order to mitigate those risks in a proper way. There can be a question regarding
the maintenance of the security system in IoT devices (Distefano, Merlino and Puliafito
2015). Apart from that the implementation of the smart strategy is important as it will protect
the system against the intruders. In this context, the question can be raised regarding the use
of the technology for preventing the possible threats. This can be said from the discussion

that this paper has raised the question regarding the advantages and the challenges of using
IoT in the organization.
Aims and significance
The overall objective of the research is to understand the different perspective of
using the IoT in the organization. In order to research this perspective the review of the
literature is done. It has been seen from the evidences from the literature review is that there
are many advantages of using the IoT. The use of IoT has increased the efficiency of the
industry (Zhou and Piramuthu2018). It has been seen that the productivity and the flexibility
of the organizations using IoT can be increased as this technology will provide the inter
connectivity of the different devices.
The significance of this paper is that this paper has described both advantages and the
challenges of using IoT. Apart from that the paper has also discussed the possible mitigation
plan for the mitigation of the identified risks regarding the use of IoT in the organization. The
detailed discussion will help the organizations and individuals to make the effective use of
IoT. In this context some of the research questions can be made. These are-
 What is the use of IoT in the social life of the people?
 Is the use of IoT will affect the life of people in everyday basis?
 What can be the possible challenges of using IoT in the organization?
 What are the possible challenges for the use of IoT in the organization?

Conclusion
The discussion is regarding the use of the IoT indifferent perspective. It has been seen
that there are different arrears in the industry where the application of IoT can be applied.
Apart from that it has been seen that along with the advantages there are certain challenges
those can be raised due to the use of IoT. The mitigation can be done after the identification
of the risks. It has been seen that most of the risks are technical risks those can be mitigated
through the proper use of the technology. Apart from that the user awareness is also needed
for the compilation of the project.
