Introduction
The report focuses on study of Elite Aesthetics’ online site interface. The website is
hosted online, and it can be accessed by anyone worldwide. The Elite Aesthetics ‘clinic was
started by Dr Shirin Lakhani and it is in Greenhithe, United Kingdom. The clinic was
founded in the year 2013. The Elite Aesthetic’ clinic provides the following services
including facial aesthetics, medical grade skincare, 3D Lipo body contouring, hair
restoration, consultation services, etc. The company has offer various products for skin, hair
supplements, eyelashes, and more. The aesthetic physicians conduct non-surgical aesthetic
treatments. It is also known that about 99 % of the content on the website is in English, a
language spoken and understood by the largest target population in the England (Browne, D.
ed., 2016).
Standards of UX and UI design:
1. User Experience (UX)
User experience it is how somebody feels while using the system which could be a software a
website or even an application web.
It is significant to the failure or achievement of any product in the market. User
experience is the procedure design crews use to produce products that deliver significant and
important practices to consumers. It entails the development of the whole process of attaining
and integrating, planning, labelling, function and usability (Desurvire, H. and Wiberg, C.,
2015).
1.1 System Performance. It is how quickly the user interface reply or react when client
connect to the website and interact with the services and products being offered. The time

taken for a system to respond and send a reply should be less to encourage customer to
inquire more information in a very small time.
1.2 Usefulness. It measures the value of certain structures, functions and information that
your products avails to the users.
1.3 Desirability. Desirability is offering an experience which is pleasant to users as they use
your products. By making your customers happy you build an emotional connection with the
clients, convincing them to continue using the products since it fulfils their desire (Travis, D.,
2017).
1.4 Simplicity. It is the ability to use a product delightfully, efficiently and with ease. For
example, booking an appointment should not have many processes.
1.5 Accessibility. This describe the ability of users to use services and products, however not
to a degree of users accomplishing their objectives. Developers should build products
accomplishing the wants of all prospective customers, such as people with special needs or
anyone facing any barriers.
2. User Interface (UI) design
2.1 Page Layout. It is a way of manipulating and influencing the attention users on a page to
deliver a meaning. Page layout is a way of influencing the user’s attention on a page to
deliver significance. While designing put the utmost vital information to stand out and the
least significant to catch less attention. Similarly, user should be capable to comprehend the
informational organization of the page on its (Comi, A., Schiraldi, M.M. and Buttarazzi, B.,

2.2 Font. Font size and font style influence the how a massage is conveyed, and this may
have an impact on the user’s emotions. Certain fonts are easy to read than others. The
tougher our brain and eyes have to struggle to understand a text the poorer we get the
message.
2.3 Organisation of the content. Content should be arranged in a systematic manner from the
most important to the least significant. Start by presenting information or products that users
use more often. Also start by showing product or services that have offer to attract the
attention of your client.
2.4 Text appearance. The style you use to write your text or message speaks a lot on your
behalf of you and the products. Use a simply or a stand style that can be understood easily by
everyone.
2.5 Colours. Colours play an important role in user interface. You should use different
colours for different products. Colours most of the time influence the decision of customers
since colours attract their attention. Like in clinic you should use clam colours like white,
grey, black etc. use one colour to convey one message to avoid confusion.
Problem statement:
The issues that has been founded in this website versus the UX and UI design standards
are identified below.
1. UX issues vs UX standards:
1.1 System Performance. It has been pointed out that user interface takes time to connect the
clients to the website and get access to the products they offer. It is hard to get an immediate
direct feedback form the doctor. To solve this problem the time taken for a system to respond

and send a reply should be less to encourage customer to inquire more information in a very
small time.
1.2 Usefulness. The interface has so many feature, function and information that the user
doesn’t find important in any way. You should research on what your client wants to know
what information is the most and list important to them (Correia, N.N. and Tanaka, A., 2015).
1.3 Desirability. The clinic does not deliver a pleasant experience to users as they use the
products and services. The services do not offer an emotion fulfilment. The design of
products does not have a convincing look.
