The installation of the device and using thetable needs various precautionary measures such as taking off any accessories worn, rollingup the sleeves wearing safety gear while operating the machine (Chaudhari, Awari, andKhandare 2015). Eye protection must be worn at all times during turning operations to avoidany injury to the eye. The equipment used in the turning operations are sharp and must beused very carefully to avoid any mishaps. The different tools should be kept away from therunning machine to avoid injuries.Answer 2The lathe machine is device which operates at high speeds and uses very sharp tools,so necessary precautionary measures need to be taken while operating the machine andhandling the tools for this operation. The different tools used in the turning operations areextremely sharp and should be used properly. The tools should be kept away from therotating and the moving parts of the machine to avoid any injury (Patel, Kapadia and Joshi2016). The cutting tools should be fixed probably to avoid any injury to the operator. Thechuck wrench should always be detached and the chuck should be fitted properly to avoidany injuries.Answer 3 The operators working on the lathe machine should take necessary personal safetymeasure to protect them in the case of any accident. The eyes should be covered at all timesto prevent airborne metal bits and chards from entering the eyes of the person (Koenigsbergerand Tlusty 2016).
