However this is themajor reason for the growth and development of New Yorkseparately.Geographic: New York is located on the AtlanticCoastal Plain at the mouth of the Hudson River, is acity made up mostly of islands. It covers the area of303 square miles and its elevation is around 50 to 800feet above from the sea level.
