It can be argued that environmental degradation is considered to be an escalating problem
nowadays. There are a number of factors that are posed a great threat to the environmental
stability. In this regards, the vehicle emission is considered to be a recent threat to the ecological
balances. The vehicle manufacturing companies are now trying to exploit the lack of effective
policies that can maintain the environmental sustainability. The giant vehicle manufacturer
companies are more interested in maximising their profit rather than ventilate concern about the
environmental degradation that are caused by the emission of CO2 from the vehicles (Bachmann,
Ehrlich and Ruzic 2018). In this regards, this discussion is going to emphasis two different case
studies, one illustrates the Volkswagen emission scandal where as the other article is dealing
with the increasing nature of vehicle emission in China and its detrimental impact on the
environment of the respective country. in course of the discussion the essay encompasses certain
ethical and rational considerations that are absent in the global aspects. Therefore, both the
countries and the corporate organisations are free to take advantages that are against the
environmental equilibrium.
The first article is dealing with the case study of Volkswagen Automobiles and the
scandal regarding emission of polluted air from their manufactured vehicles. It can be argued
that in the year 2015 the company faced a serious allegation in regards to emitting pollutions. As
