INTRODUCTION
Social policy is considered as a major strategic framework which helps in development of
society. Social policy is defined as a key approach developed by government in order to achieve
social objectives and goals (Carey, 2021) . The social policy is developed by government in
order to help and support weaker sections of the society. In order to develop social policy
government must take into consideration development of plans and policies which are suitable
for the citizens. Social policy also helps a country to develop key approach in performing
different types of welfare for the society related to social development. Social policy is the major
priority of government of United Kingdom to achieve prosperous and stable growth. The key
function of society should be on understanding the approach of government and support its steps
by remaining loyal. In order to develop social aspects of a country, it is important for the
government to take into consideration key goals and objectives. In the recent times, government
of different countries are involved in development of social policy according to social and
economic conditions in order to perform effective development. With the help and support of
social policy, society gets large number of benefits. In the British social society, Collectivism
prioritizes group cohesion over individual pursuits, and it sees long-term relationships as
essential since it promotes group goals. The concept of collectivism focuses on freedom of
human beings as well as makes concern about their independence. The individualist approach
helps the British Social Society to make freedom based approach which is beneficial for overall
development.
As Benjamin Disraeli once said” Power has only one duty- to secure the social welfare
of the people”.The welfare ideologies are considered as major approaches which helps in the
welfare of society as a whole. This is major responsibility of government to develop welfare
ideologies in order to increase major approach in helping large number of people in the society.
The policy making process should include citizen's well being as a major priority in order to
develop the country. Government includes welfare approach formulation and key ideologies
which are supporting citizens well being (Crisp, 2021). The policy makers should develop a
major planning and strategic framework in order to perform welfare of citizens. It is major role
of policy makers to identify loopholes in the society and develop policies and plans accordingly.
The policy making process of United Kingdom's government should be ethical and transparent in
order to develop a major and precise approach. Welfare ideologies of government should be
