INTRODUCTION
Visitor attraction management is an important aspect of tourism industry which assist in
attracting large number of visitors. It is required by this sector to emphasise on various
destinations in order to gain more attention of people. Today, tourism sector is one of the fastest
growing industry whose integral part is visitor attraction. Each country has its own significance
which makes it distinct and unique from others (Aldebert, Dang and Longhi, 2011). Visitor
attractions highly contributes in improving economic condition of country. Therefore, it is also
essential for government to emphasize on destinations of nation and keep maintain them. This
assignment is based on National Tourism Agency Visit Britain that put huge impact on tourism
sector of Britain and England. The report discusses about various issues related to visitor
attraction and the procedures includes in its improvement. Needs and motivations of various
visitor types as well as influence of tourism on visitor attraction are evaluated in report. Apart
from this, various strategies and management techniques are analysed in relation to
sustainability. At last, significance and overlap of different visitor attraction are included in this
report.

recreation, fun, seeking joy and gain amazing experience for life time. The country, United
Kingdom is very popular for its various beautiful destinations as all have some unique features
which assist in attracting large group of visitors. Visit Britain is an agency engaged in tourism
sector with the aim of increasing importance of tourism destinations of England (Ballantyne
and Packer, 2011). This will assist in getting attention of visitors and to encourage them to visit
country. Natural destinations of place such as lakes, landscapes, coastal locations etc. attracts
visitors more as visiting these places gives inner peace to people. Pembroke shire coast and
Windermere Lake are the most popular destination of England. Along with this, Greenwich
Park, National Maritime Museum and Queen's House are also some attractions of UK which
attracts people more. In addition to this, various events and festivals of country also plays vital
role and becomes focal point of tourists. At festivals time, people come from different places

with the purpose of enjoyment. Aquarium, zoo, carnivals, monuments, ancient temples, church
etc. are some miscellaneous tourist points.
In England, various destinations are there which attracts many visitors to come and
visit place. National Maritime Museum is the most popular and oldest place near to Tames
river. Overlapping of visiting attraction facilitates in enhancing economic condition of nation.
Second essential instance of convergence is Greenwich Park. These are organised in each five
year interval. These games are seen by people from various countries. They come from
different places to see games (Ballantyne, Packer and Falk, 2011). So, Queen's House is one of
the big example of overlap visitor attraction. Thus, convergence of destinations plays crucial
role in development and growth of economy.
Overlapping issues are increased in tourism industry. It is an issue related with
occurrence of 2 events at similar time. Greenwich Park is one of the natural destination but,
people find the same natural beauty at other place. This will increase the problem of
overlapping. It put high influence on sustainability of environment. It depicts that, when visitors
visit a place, they want to visit another place at the same time. It will creates overlapping but,
leads towards improved profits. There are various attractive places in England which people
want to see. So, government needs to take care of such destinations so that their attractiveness
are keep maintained.

High revenues are generated from tourism sector in United Kingdom and contributes in
improving economy of country. This will assist in generating employment opportunities for
domestic population of country so that their living standard can be improved. There are several
benefits of visitor attraction which assists in maximising their significance (Bynum, Issa and
Olbina, 2012). Some benefits are defined below:
Revenue: Tourism industry is one of the sector by which high revenues are generated and
contributes in improving economic condition. England is the place which is visit by many
people as it attracts them more. Around 3 million people every year visit UK which constantly
increase revenue of nation. This industry assists in growth and development of nation. Various

Improvement in heritage and culture: Management of visitor attraction is very important so that
it will keep safe (Cheung, 2013). Improvement in local heritage and culture is main
responsibility for UK government to maintain its history in effective way. English country
house is one of the main destination which becomes attraction point of tourist.
Increase in foreign exchange: Each nation desires to increase their foreign currency collection.

Behavioural segmentation: This help in divides the population on the basis of behaviour ,

individual tourism industry can easily understand their travelling requirements. It is form of

while dividing the customers into groups marketers look at their patters of buying and using
patterns of spending money and time .For an example some people like to visit an adventurous
trips so this industry make plans according to type of people where they can enjoy their

want to visit such kinds of place where more crowd founded so it can be affects on the
destination and decrease the people.

House are describe as follow-
Location: It is crucial factor which can affect development of tourist attraction. For
example there are faulty roads and areas where there is no rainfall so hence some visiting parks
are not available. Thus many visitors are not preferring to visit these areas.
Funding: All visitor attractive places requires more many so that they can run properly
and efficiently. Britain require more money so that factious places like museums can become
