Theories
Tourist Motivation theory is mainly divided two motive factors such as wanderlust
and sun lust. Wanderlust and Sunlust are the factors of motivation that influence the people
to travel outside from their places. Wanderlust defines the desire of people which exchange
the known for the unknown (Christou, Farmaki, Saveriades, & Spanou, 2019). It is the basic
desire of an individual because everyone wants to go in familiar to unfamiliar environment,
places to go and see different places, people and cultures. It has been seen that this place is

Australia (Singh, 2016).
Sunlust theory defines the people who like adventure travellers. These types of tourist
places are mostly visit by young travellers because they can take part in different adventures

so that they can specially came to country for visiting the city (Efd initiative, 2015).
Agents also have the responsibility to promote the visitors to visit the place. Tourism
agents are one of the key stakeholders of the country. Agents have the responsibility to keep
the environment clean and safe. The agents trained the staff so that they can create the happy
and entertainment environment for visitors. Agents also update the social media sites and
websites to attract the visitors to visit the place. Agents also develop the trip plan with the
smart budget which attracts the people to visit the place as compare to others cities.
Environmental Impact
Water Crisis is an issue which is face by the visitors and it affects the growth of city.
It has been seen that the rivers of Australia has been disrupted by damming and diverting
their water. Adelaide depends on the Murray-Darling River system for drinking water. The
visitors face the skin issues due to issue of water in the city (Skwirk, 2018). Water is a basic
need of human being that is why it is required to have clean water for visitors. The
government of Australia does not focusing on these issues due to which the growth rate of
tourism industry of Adelaide is affected with the heavy rate (King, 2015).
The other current issue of Adelaide is developing industry near the visiting places that
directly impact in the success of the destination. Adelaide Park Lands are an irresistible
temptation that is why everyone wants a free land for their project. But these industry
decreases the space of exploring for visitors as well for other citizens. It is good for economic
development but it is negatively affected the city (Adelaide-parklands, 2019).

Recommendations
From the above analysis, it has been recommended that the government of Australia
have to take step towards the tourism industry to promote the place. It has been seen that the
government is more focusing on hospitality industry instead of tourism industry. It is
recommended that the government have to disinvest in the hospitality sector and concentrate
on the necessary infrastructure that is highly attractive for visitors. Government also have to
restrict the industries to enter the park lands by developing the restricted policies.
Agents have to use the different tools and means through which they can promote the
places for visiting such as emotional advertisement on radios, television, social media
application and websites. As discussed above, Adelaide has high competition that is why; it is
recommended that the city have to more promote its famous things such as city festivals,
adventure activities.
Conclusion
From the above analysis, it has been concluded that the city have high scope of
increasing the tourist. The celebrations of festivals and different adventures are highly
attractive part of this city. Water crisis and increasing industry rate in the city are the current
issues that directly impact the growth of the city. The competition is increases due to facing
the issues by visitor in the city. It is recommended that the government have to take the step
towards these issues and attracts the investors to invest this place to develop highly
entertainment environment for visitors.
