INTRODUCTION
Concept of visitor attraction management indicate various strategies and methods which
can be use by firms to attract large number of visitors towards various tourist destinations. It
ensure development of various facilities at tourist destinations to better satisfy the needs of
tourists (Ab Karim and Chi, 2010). This is one of the most important component of tourism
industry. Government of nation also do efforts and invest large number of funds in tourist
destinations. Growth of tourism sector provide opportunity to firm to earn foreign exchange and
boost its economy. Present report contain huge amount of information related with tourism
sector. Overlap of visitor attractions and significance of various tourist attractions for different
type of visitors is all given under this report. Impact of tourism activity on different attractions
places and motivations of various type of visitors is all detailed in this. Further, major techniques
to attain sustainability and number of strategies of visitor management is also give in this.

Visitors and travellers are the one who ensure survival and growth of tourism sector. To
increase the number of travellers towards a specific destination, it is necessary for tour
enterprises to offer them effective services and better products. Overlap in tourism industry
means offering something extra and unique to visitors to make their whole experience of
travelling a positive one. Being a consultant for VisitBritian, to increase the number of
travellers, it is very important to consider that final place of destination should be clean and has
all basic facilities and features to enhance the value of journey of travellers. It comes under the
responsibility of tour enterprises to maintain the values and facilities of tourist destination.
Every nation has its own tourist places and features to motivate a large number of visitors.
Some places attract a large number of individuals while some get fail to do the same. For
example, London eye, Eden project and Thorpe Park are famous tourist destinations and attract
a large number of visitors every year. Decision of travelling or visiting a place taken by an
individual get affected by various factors such as wants, demands, needs and income level of an
individual. Personal attributes of an individual also affect the decision of his/ her travelling. Age

and gender of an individual are important elements that affect the decision of tourists. For
example, people of old age like to visit religious places and temple and on the opposite of this,
young individuals like to prefer adventurous destinations. In order to motivate individuals to
visit various destinations, tour enterprises are required to consider the needs and special
requirements of individuals of different age. Destinations which attract a large number of
individuals can be man-made, natural or can be a historical one. Historical places are the one
which attract individuals who have interest in history of a particular event or action as well as in
religious places such as temple attracts people of old age. Further, man-made events attract
individuals having interest to join that event or who wants to learn something new. Decisions
taken by a tourist get affected by number of factors such as their needs, behaviour and attitude.
By examining all these factors, a tour enterprise can attract a large number of individuals with
the help of an effective method of advertising. It is important that there should be basic facilities
at a tourist destination and so, it can attract number of individuals. Proper consideration should
be given on development of basic facilities as this will help firm in adding value to the
experience of travellers.

domestic and international level. To increase the number of visitors, ethical and cultural values
of a country can be promoted to attract travellers to various heritage, natural and man-made
destinations. Influencing a large number of travellers is one of the most important components
of success and growth of tourism sector. To increase the number of travellers, VisitBritain can
use following types of attractions:
Natural attractions: This type of attraction influence large number of visitors towards
the natural destination of a nation. Attractions of these type are god gifted and every
country have these kind of attractions. Government of country invests a huge fund for
