INTRODUCTION
1.Vulnerability Among child, young people and families lead to various risks which involves the
lack of diet, poor housing, due to this people are seen as involve in crimes improper social
behaviour. Sheffield and Bradford study has shown the example of vulnerability where family
members are suffering as parents were in criminal activities.
2.Lack of concern, education and improper guidance, negative environment in community lead
to such vulnerability. As per the 1st case study where the family members are bridget, john,
jayden and Erin, it is seen that all children are at risk of physical abuse and also there is a history
of domestic violence in family It is all because of parent’s less concern and lack of education in
them are the reason behind their vulnerable position. The factors have shown that in this case
study John has history of offending since he was child thus negative environment and lack of
education lead john to do crimes and domestic violence, which cannot be seen easily in average
family.
Case study:
1. In case study one all family members are suffering because of their bad attitudes as john
has criminal history and children are involved in physical school, they don’t attend
school. It is found that society have major influence over the person’s activity,
surrounding also have impact over person’s behaviour. As per the second case study
where Julie was into criminal activities which lead her children to involve in offending
activities. It’s all because of nurturing environment as both john and Julie were not able
to go school and growing in poverty lead them to follow negative direction whose
influence is clearly seen on their family members.
2. As per the case study 3 which is from Lancashire, it is clearly seen that both mothers in
families are irresponsible also Daniel who is carol’s son has criminal records which is
negatively influencing his cousin simon who is son of Debbie. Thus it shows the higher
level of the vulnerability as two families are affected badly because of one person’s
behaviour. As daniel’s siblings Abigail and Kerry also showing the sign of their brother’s
misbehaviour, they are at high risk as they do not show interest in education. Thus both
