Their successful supply chain management coupled up with proper management has been among the major factors that have contributed to this success. This paper seeks to analyze the supply chain strategies and inventory management systems that have been adopted by the organization in a bid to achieve continued success. Ideally, it will seek to acknowledge the impacts of its inventory management trends regarding the competition. Moreover, the paper will lay down the effect of globalization on the supply chain and success of the company in general. This report aims to identify the strategies that have been adopted by Wal-Mart in a bid to achieve global recognition. In addition to that, there will be an explanation of how the technological advancement has led to improvement of the supply chain management in the company. The paper also gives recommendations that should be embraced by the organization so that there can be continued success in all its operations. Introduction Wal-Mart is a retail corporation that operates multinational. It is considered to be among the fastest growing companies regarding supply and retail management. There is a huge prevalence of the organization all over America and Latin America. It is therefore considered to be the leader in the retail business all over America and beyond. For Wal-Mart to be able to meet all their global demands, it is essential that it brings into force an effective supply chain management that will help it oversee all their activities easily.
