1THE WAR OF THE WORLDS ESSAY
“The War of the Worlds” written by H.G Wells is a novel that has an immense political
and moral ideas. He was an anti-colonialist and through his works, he portrayed the idea of
superior races taking over inferior races to build empires. Based on the theory of evolution,
Wells presented the novel as a story that shows. The struggle for survival and this concept is
used throughout the book (Turner, Abrahams, & Harris, 2017). The greed and selfishness of
humankind is portrayed using situations that are reflected in the novel. The theme of the novel is
to criticize the major aspects of society like the religion; the military which presents the like
facades that hides the primal nature of man. The ignorance of man is pointed out in the novel
when the Martians arrive; humans treat them with curiosity rather than taking a direct measure to
prevent further invasion. People watch the remarkable event from all the surrounding villages
and cities but when the attack begins, they are helpless. It is even so because religion has taught
men that they are all in the image of God, therefore superior to others (Rydell, 2013). Human
kind experiences fear and they resort to defense. Instead of a victory, the world is in calamity due
to the major invasion. Initially, there is where every one of the Martians is dead of infection.
There are a bundle of pieces of information in the book that portend either that the Martians can
be murdered or that it will be microorganisms that do the executing. For example, the main line
of the book takes note of that the Martians are "as mortal" as man, so we know they can be
slaughtered from the earliest starting point.
The greater part of the glad stuff occurs in the short Book 2. Section 9, so we should
proceed onward to Chapter 10, where things are less blushing. Truly, there's a feeling of
humankind all being a piece of one major family, which is so sweet it gives us depressions. The
storyteller begins to go frantic in the boulevards of London, and methodologies a Martian
machine, with the expectation of executing himself. The storyteller has a mental meltdown and is
