Introduction
The following report highlights the hardware and software requirement which is used by
warehouse manager (Atieh et al. 2016). The report deals with hardware and software
information technology system. After that, a comparison has been done on the various hardware
and software requirement which is needed in various fields (Alyahya, Wang and Bennett 2016).
The coming pages of the report mainly deal with design, implementation, test and simple control
system which is done by making use of logic (Alekseev et al. 2016). After that a document has
been done with respect to design, implementation and lastly planning and testing of simple
control system. The last section of the report provides a list of recommendation for the existing
system.
Discussion
Hardware and software for IT system
Warehouse management System mainly comprises of hub of large number of supply
chain solution, integration of accounting orders and lastly shipping software system. It also
comprises electronic data interchange system and radio frequency (Laudon and Laudon 2016).
Apart from all this, it comes up with hardware and warehouse automation equipment.
Combination of radio frequency with the given barcode technology comes up with robust and
Internet-based architecture. WMS aims to deliver a very powerful, scalable and flexible kind of
real-time warehouse management system (Alyahya, Wang and Bennett 2016). It is very helpful
in boosting performance and reducing cost. It can also lead to fulfillment of orders, improving
the customer satisfaction and providing much better rate of return. WMS mainly comes large

system is that it requires updates on continuous basis (Tukai et al. 2016). WMS vendor focuses
on providing new features which can easily affect the whole organization. It is considered to be
as one of the best methods to stay on the top.
Improving Security: A large number of warehouse management program generally need
employee’s user account for carrying out the overall transaction (Chen et al. 2016). It ultimately
creates a proper kind of audit trail which is needed for connecting various employees.
Characteristic and properties of profession of IT system
As a warehouse manager, there is certain number of roles and responsibilities for which a
warehouse management system is needed (Fichtinger et al. 2015). There is large number of
software from which a particular choice needs to be made for handling of material and
management of warehouse (Tukai et al. 2016). There is certain number of programs which can
be used for inventory control, labor, maintenance of equipment. This particular system is needed
for understanding the efficiency of the given warehouse (Laudon and Laudon 2016). Along with
this, a proper customer satisfaction needs for labor control, maintaining of equipment, shipping
and many other.

System for proper shipment
Barcode printer.
Shipping System: By the help of level of proper integration, WMS can easily provide
interface within the different transport system (Alekseev et al. 2016). By help of WMS, various
kind of order can be easily sent which is needed for tracking data.
EDI system: WMS comes up with the function of generating all the needed data in the
given standard shipment notice.
Barcode printers: Warehouse management system comes up with Zebra and another
kind of barcode printers.
Issues identified
Warehouse management system comes up with some issues like
System Crash: The biggest issue with WMS is the crash of system (Chen et al. 2016).
Various issues like corrupt hard drive, outage of power and another kind of issues can easily
result in loss of vital data.
Malicious hack: Various hackers around the globe focus on the goal of entering into the
system anyhow (Atieh et al. 2016). An inventory connected devices can be for connecting point
of sale-devices along with accounting. It can easily lead to search for potential and financial
information for gathering data of the owners.
Reduces physical audits: As everything is automated, it is considered to be time-
consuming for analyzing various aspects (Fichtinger et al. 2015).
