Position Title: Brigade Maintenance Manager NCO
I am currently assigned to HSC, 6th Battalion 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade
as the Brigade Maintenance Manager NCO. I am responsible for the brigade
maintenance program of 41 UICs with over 9,000 pieces of equipment to include
Weapons & Optics, Rolling stock & GSE, and Communication. Solely responsible for
accurate reporting and maintaining the brigade overall operation readiness rate
96% utilizing the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS), overseeing VS2
Contractor with scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, recovery support, and
supervision the brigade dispatch program. As the GCSS Army Maintenance Access
Administrators, I am responsible for assigning maintenance manager, master driver,
and commander representative position for 41 Force Element (FE) within the
Brigade. Within six month I spearhead the Modification Management Information
System (MMIS) program having the brigade Safety Use of Message (SOUM) from
3,500 over due to the remaining of 185 (SOUM) and 350 Modification Work Order
(MWO) outstanding to the remaining of 165 MWO. I oversee the "VS2 Contractor
Overage Reparable report" (ZOAREP) to ensure all recoverable are turn in within
30days and received over $205,583 return credit. As the Senior Maintenance NCO,
I trained 36 maintenance advisors and provided them with low destiny training on-
a) maintenance manager role, b) battle damage assessment and repair and, c)
recovery operations. It further enabled them to become more active as
maintenance advisor.

Position Title: Maintenance Manager NCO (Forward Afghanistan)
While I was assigned to HSC, 6th Battalion 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade,
deployed in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel. Capable of training, advice,
Assist, Accompany, and Enable Foreign Security Forces (FSF) in any environment, I
served as Battalion Operation NCOIC, responsible for coordinating, planning and
tracking more than 900 advisor missions with 215th Corps Afghan National Army
(ANA). Responsible for coordinated and managed air movement of personnel and
equipment are over 500 intra-theatre mission. I developed the Standard Operation
Procedure (SOP) and Battle Drills for the battalion tactical operation centre, fully
integrated with the Task Force South West as daily operations. I resourced with the
Task Force, managed the battalion training calendar, developed a marksmanship
stress shoot, weapon qualification course of fire, and trained 41 soldiers on their
weapon proficiency. I coordinated with Task Force South East for the battalion
training ammunition over 30,000 rounds and performed as the NCOIC for six
advance marksmanship range. I assisted the Senior Maintenance Warrant Advisor
with over 300 mission, responsible for the training, advising, supporting, and
enabling of the 215th ANA Corps. With the same, I have also implemented a
maintenance program and processed over 600 Estimated Cost of Damages (ECOD)

packets while coordinating with the reset of the Central Weapons Shop(CSB). It
increased 215th Corps maintenance production more than double.

Position Title Battalion Maintenance Control SGT
I was assigned to 307th BSB, Forward Support Company within the 1st Brigade
Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. I served as the Battalion Maintenance
Control Sergeant for the 1-504th Parachute Infantry Regiment Battalion. As the
Battalion Maintenance Control Sergeant, I am responsible of six companies' Unit
Identification Code (UIC) within the Battalion for planning, coordinating, directing
and managing all the Field Level Maintenance, both scheduled and unscheduled
maintenance over 250 pieces of rolling stock equipment valued of over $20 million,
and seven NCO's and 23 Soldiers. Earlier, I was lagging by two months and had
about 20 vehicles deadlines.
However, within 90days of being Maintenance Control Sergeant, I went on top of
the service schedule and all equipment that had parts on hand becoming Fully
Mission Capable. I managed over 30 excess equipment for the turn in, saving the
Battalion over $100,000. During this time, I managed Global Combat Support
System-Army while enrolling more than 75 lines of bench stock shop stock into the
Materials Management I also, completed a 100% reset of the maintenance service
plan cycle over 3,500 pieces of equipment with no issues. I managed the Safety of
Use Messages, coming from over 200 messages to only one notes left, second-
lowest in the Brigade. The effort and professionalism I used created a better
maintenance program that could be managed and taken into the future.
Date: 20150109- 20170108
Position Title: Senior Mechanic
While I was assigned to 95th Engineer Clearance Company, I served as a Senior
Mechanic. I was responsible for four NCOs and 10 Soldiers. I managed and
supervised Field Level Maintenance of more than 71 pieces of rolling stock
equipment, which include 20 route clearance vehicles, 14 horizontal construction
vehicles and support material of six million dollars. I re-established the Schedule
Maintenance Program so that it would be more efficient and to go with the Army
regulations as well. It further resulted in less downtime while equipment is being
serviced. I also managed two recovery operations teams who were tasked with
recovering of material at a moment's notice. This resulted in six missions being
conducted with no damage to equipment. I oversee the railhead and port
operations by providing maintenance support during the deployment and
redeployment of a nine rotation to the Republic of South Korea. I led the Battalion
in excellent in field maintenance during a 10-day field training exercise by repairing
over ten deadline vehicles in a freezing condition while deployed to South Korea. I
also employed new Quality Control and Quality Assurance staffs for the company
that was integrated into the 84th Engineer Battalion Standard Operating Procedures

to ensure all the companies' vehicles were being appropriately inspected and that
they were up to standard for any mission. My never quit attitude and dictated to the
mission success allowed me to be selected in my secondary zone for Sergeant First
Class.

Position Title: Recovery Vehicle Supervisor NCO
While I was assigned to the 84th Engineer Battalion, Forward Support Company, I
served as a recovery vehicle and scheduled maintenance supervisor NCO. I am
responsible for managing scheduled maintenance on more than 150 pieces
equipment's consisting of wheeled vehicles, construction equipment, and
supervised recovery operations for three UICs. I lead my recovery team in support
of the Battalion Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) port operation, recovered
five heavy vehicles with no damages to equipment's or injured of personnel. During
JRTC rotation, I was responsible for the Quality Control and Quality Assurance of
over 300 hardware. I also conducted more than ten field level maintenances, spend
numerous hours repairing vehicles to mission capable for the Battalion to be
successful fully. I developed and recreated service scheduled program that
decreases the overdue services and aligned the maintenance service plan within
the battalion training cycle. I conducted a 100% on inventories of excess part and
turned- in to the supply system, which saves the Army over $100,000 in
recoverable and surplus parts. Throughout my challenging work and dedication to
the overall success of the 84th Engineer Battalion mission. I was awarded the Army
Commendation Medal for my effort while serving in United State Pacific Command,
8TSC, 84th Engineer Battalion.

Position Title: Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic
While I was assigned to HHC 2nd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation
Regiment (Airborne), I served as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. I was selected over
five other qualifying NCOs to serve as Section Sergeant I am responsible for the
health and wealth of three NCO's and five soldiers. I am accountable for 250 pieces
of light and heavy wheeled vehicles, 30 bits of Power Generation equipment, and
196 pieces of non-tactical equipment. I correspondingly managed all the scheduled
and unscheduled Field Level Maintenance of all equipment along with Regiment's
Safety of Using Message Manager. Throughout this time, I also served as a Quality
Control and Quality Assurance officer for both military vehicles and civilian vehicles.
I also supervised over 100 vehicles, ensuring it was fully missioned capable before
any mission. I utilize the free issue warehouse daily for maintenance and repaired
parts saving the Army over $10,000 and limited to under five days or zero
downtime for non-mission capable equipment's. As a Section Sergeant, I ensure my
soldiers were well trained and prepared to operate successfully at various outpost
location in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. With limit resource, they were
still able to accomplish 100% of the mission and were given an impact award the
Army Commendation Medal for their deployment. I was also awarded the Army
