process of urban planning development which has explained in this report. The water

The particular concept includes the description of managing water issues that occurred in the
process of river basin management. This specific tool is used to integrate several water resources
for management. The description of resources related to water is included in this river basin
management. The several issues, challenges, and solutions will be included in this report to
understand the river basin management. Several reviews of the authors related to the basin will
be discussed in this report. The water resources are integrated into the river basin managing
process as it is important to understand the overall integration of water resources. The
description of water resources in the drainage basin is included in this river basin management
plan (Carr, 2015). The water allocation plans and the governance structure will be discussed in
this report. The water management issues will be described in this report.
The river basin management is the tool that has several benefits in water management as it helps
in making sustainable development, provides a healthy ecosystem, thriving livelihood and
poverty alleviation. In ecology, the drainage basins are important as it can flow over the rivers
and grounds. The future irrigation expectations are also met through water management as it sets
the policies and regulation’s which helps in managing the water resources.

Considering risk management, the basin management plan needs to be given due important
together with the process of planning of water resources with the help of the basin management
as this is one of the processes used in the concept of managing water. There is a sustainable river
basin management which includes the proper understanding of water resources management that
gives a brief overview of the proper management of resources. The water is one of the important
parts of the environment and it is related to socio-economic demands and potential. The water
treated as social, environment and economic resource that is used in some of the decision-
making processes.

As per my views, water resource management faces several issues that create many problems in
the integration of water resources. I have analyzed that water resources management affects the
overall economy of a particular place or country. Water is also depending on the change of
climate and different facts related to the environmental aspects. Due to the issues occurred in
water management, the overall ecosystem gets affected and disturbed the overall environment
(Figueres, et al., 2012). The major problem faced by the developing countries relates to the
managing of water resources and it improved the overall management for the particular resource.
The proper approach of water management can be managed by using sustainability in the
process. I have analyzed that in the process of water management, several issues have occurred
which need to be understood in a proper manner so that overall management can be achieved.
These issues are addressed by the water resources manager so that the possibility of solving the
water issues can occur.
The major issues which I have analyzed in the water resources management are related to
climate change, growth of urban demand, increasing vulnerability, land-use change and
environmental requirements (Valipour, 2015). Due to the fluctuations, the management cannot
be properly arranged. The vulnerability is one of the important processes that can be increased
and that affect the water management issues.
The growth of urban demand also affects the management and this demand affects the overall
process of water management in several aspects. Urban demand is only responsible for the
supply systems. The agriculture is also included in the overall process of water management as
this is one of the major aspects of water management so the land-use exchange is one of the
major issues that affect water resources in a proper manner. The different environmental
requirements are used in the process of the water resources as it is also included in the
environment aspect (Jonkman and Dawson, 2012). The environment is included in the overall
ecosystem and in the environmental aspect the water is used at the highest priority and this
creates several issues in the management of water resources.
Challenges come in the water management

I have analyzed that there are several current and future challenges occurred in the process of the
integration of water resources. The water management needs proper integration of the resources
and this process faces several challenges and problems. The challenges are related to the current
context and future context. As per my view, the current challenges of water management are
discussed as below-
 Regulatory complexity and planning
There are complex policies and regulations in the process of water management. There are
several government policies that create many complexities in the overall process of water
management. The main government policy linked to the 25-year environment plan and the other
new plans which are drainage and wastewater management plans (Cosgrove and Loucks, 2015).
I have determined that water management faces many issues that affect the meeting of objectives
and also affect the time framing process.
 Competition and markets
The markets need to be effective by the water management companies and they get affected by
the competition. The developer and other services are also used in this challenge of water
management (Margerum and Robbinson, 2015). The water management also shows their
competition and markets in the environment of water management. The competition creates
many issues in the context of managing water.
The future challenges related to the concept of managing water are discussed below-
 License changes and catchment management
The licensing is also important in resource management as it is necessary for the overall process
of the management (Fulazzaky, 2014). I have observed that there are several changes occurred in
the license.
 Water Efficiency
The water resource planning faces several issues in management. The water efficiency is one of
the important challenges that need to be managed properly for the better integration of water
resources (Sapkota, et al., 2015).

 Leakage
The average target market for the leaking process is 17% which occurs at the time of production
by the end of the year 2020-25. This creates many issues and challenges in water management
and it affects the technology and innovation that is also important in the integration of water
resources (Madani, 2014).

Solutions to the water management
The major issues which have been seen in the water management were the climate change issue,
urban demand, land use, complexity in the planning, competition, water efficiency, changing in
rules regulations, etc.
I think water management can be solved by using water in an effective manner. An increase in
globalization has brought many new rules and regulations which affect the process of saving the
water (Giodano and Shah, 2014). The water is an essential need in agriculture and it includes one
of the important tools in agriculture.
Another solution to water management is to make use of proper supply and demand. Water
structure has to be redesigned so that proper supply can be done and it should be served to those
people who are highly needed.
Change in climate can be shifted and it can be altered by the future hydro genic events. The
water management can also be improved by educating the people to save the water and by
adopting the new technologies of water conservation and recycling the wastewater (Khasanova,
2017). The several methods of water management can also be improved such as optimizing the
cooling towels, eliminating the single-pass cooling, etc.
The policies and regulations have to be maintained which is the best solution for water
management as it uses the water in an effective manner and makes the effective use of the
optimum water resources. The increasing pollution is another issue for water management so it
should be controlled by reducing the population (Wandiga, 2014). The good quality water is
demanded more so it should be contaminated so that good quality water can be saved. The
complexity in the planning is another issue in water management which can be solved through
making the proper plan and budget (Bjornlund, et al., 2014).

From the above report, the several concepts regarding water management have been described.
The concepts of water management have been used in this report. This report justifies the several
issues and solutions that occurred in the management. The management of the water depends on
the river basin and it affects the overall activities and functions. The management is one of the
major problems faced by the developing countries and it improved the overall management for
the particular resource. The climate change is one of the issues occurred in water management as
due to the variable climate the several fluctuations have occurred.
Due to the fluctuations, the management cannot be properly arranged. The agriculture is also
included in the overall process of water management as this is one of the main aspects of the
management so the land-use exchange is one of the major issues that affect water management in
a proper manner. There are several government policies that create many complexities in the
overall process of water management. The licensing is also important in resource management as
it is necessary for the overall process of the management. The solutions discussed in the above
report helps in the overall process of water management.
