Innovation in wearable devices such as Apple Watch Describe the topic(s) or issue(s) you wish to investigate for your Dissertation. These must relate to the subjects that comprise your programme of study, and must clearly indicate what your aims /objectives / research questionswill be. The rapid speed of digital development and technology in medical research at a high degree. The electronic health industry has been a beginning of an era of digital health. This concept has been reached too many smart phone applications related to health (Kirk, 2016). However, Internet of Things has a major impact in the health industry for making transformation into digital innovation. IoT devices have been capitalizing e- healthcare market (Lafreniere et al., 2017). Various companies including Apple has been focusing in preparing new IoT devices for healthcare. The Apple Watch has been a new innovative device invented by Apple Inc. This research focuses on how Apple Watch have been benefiting medical research industry. The aim of the research to analyze importance of the Apple Watch in the medical research study. Following are the objectives of the research: To analyze the wearable devices development trend To identify opportunities and challenges of IoT wearable devices in health care industry To physically testing the Apple Watch and Mi brand model compare and analysis The research questions has been mentioned below: What is the trend in development of wearable deices in healthcare industry? What are opportunities and challenges of IoT wearable devices in health care industry? How to physically compare Apple Watch and Mi Brand Model devices? What facts or information will you need to gather? How will you access these? Data will be collected in two ways including primary and secondary method. Primary data will collected from conducting survey with users of Apple Watch and Xiaomi Brand devices users. Secondary will be collected from online journals, books, articles and interview. The sample size for the survey will be 100 users of both Apple and Xiaomi Brand users (Blythe et al., 2017). There will be 10 closed ended questions added in the survey questionnaires form created by using Google Forms. Answers and Views of participants will be recorded as data and information for the study. The results and outcomes will be analysed using tables, charts and graphs using Likert Scale ranging from 1 to 5. Interview will be conducted with three managers of the companies and five open ended questions will be asked to them. Both quantitative and qualitative analysis will be done that might help in analyzing and comparing data from Apple and Xiaomi brand devices. The research will follow proper ethics and values related to the research. Data and information will be kept safe and secure with the help of Data Protection Act 1998. No
