INTRODUCTION
Web application designing includes various kinds of features, layouts, looks that can be
designed with the help of building web pages (Ianevski and et al., 2017). There are various kinds
of languages that can be used for designing web applications. HTML is one of the most
commonly used mark-up languages which is mainly used for designing web applications or
browsers. This language is assisted by cascading style sheets, Java scripts etc. In this report all
the codes that have been used for building web application have been explained with the flow of
the web application as well.
MAIN BODY
This website has been designed using HTML which is a mark-up language. All the web
pages of the web application were developed using this language but in order to enhance user’s
experience JavaScript and CSS was also used. JavaScript is a client-side scripting language
which is used for validations, image manipulations, bringing dynamic changes within the website
content and many more (Cao, Falleri. and Blanc, 2017). Whereas CSS is used for enhancing
presentation of web pages which includes, text font size, colours, layouts and many more things.
Use of both CSS and JavaScript helps in enhancing overall presentation of the web application or
browser, not only this it further helps in enhancing overall users experiences as well. Web
browsers receive html code or document from the web server that are either stored locally or on
cloud and render all the source code documents into multiple web pages. All the html elements
of tags are first introduced and closed using angle brackets.
In order to develop this website three main HTML codes have been used for three different
web pages of the application, two CSS codes have been written in order to enhance the overall
presentation of the website and 4 JavaScript codes have been written in which validations,
manipulations have been done in order to bring dynamic changes within the website. Header
section and footer section in all the three html pages is same. Header section consist of link to
other html pages of the website and footer section consist of linking all the JavaScript codes with
html pages. All the JavaScript codes have been linked to all html codes with the help of script
code in which link to JavaScript codes are provided in order to link them with the main html
code. In all the pages a link to navigation panel has also been provided if the page is opened in
small window. This navigation panel consist of link to all the three pages of web application. All
the heading provided or text written have been provided with heading number or are written in
