Event management is a creation and development of small, large and corporate events
including festivals, ceremonies, weddings, formal parties, concerts and so on. The report
includes a wedding planning report in which a wedding planner organise a wedding event with
new, creative and innovative ideas (Wagle, 2019). Tom and Linda are the couple whose marriage
will be taken place in the month of August 14th 2021. The theme fixed by the wedding planner is
romantic blue theme because it is symbol of peace and lavishing beauty. The discussion also
includes location, type of foods and beverages, special needs in the wedding and budget which is
fixed by the Couple.
Wedding Planner of Tom weds Linda
The wedding planner is a organizer or a professional who is responsible for planning,
managing and designing the wedding. The wedding planner has a responsibility to work with the
best attainment and reflects the beauty in the eyes of guests. The wedding date fixed on 14th
August 2021 in a Lower Mainland at The puppet retreat.
Location
The lower mainland is a geographical and cultural region of British Columbia and the
decided venue is The poppy retreat which is located in the lower mainland. It has a unique on-
site accommodation available for 40 people in total. The first choice of wedding is generally The
poppy retreat due to its lavishing beauty and garden beauty (Kasselstrand, 2018).

The Wedding theme
Romantic Blue theme is to be taken into the consideration for the wedding. It gives a
modern and clear design. The colour blue symbolizes peace, trust and calm. It also represents the
sea and the sky. Hence, using this theme will gives a refreshing beauty at the time of wedding.
Also, It's peaceful, fresh and uplifting not to mention romantic, so it makes for a perfect base for
a wedding colour palette (Nagle, 2019).
The theme also includes a bunch of colour palette in a mixture of blue powder and cream,
with a touch of nude colour and a hint of gold. It is because the colour palette in a romantic blue
theme is a perfect combination in a wedding at the time of August and it gives a romantic blue
feel (Suvo, 2018).

There will be full bar service that will be offered at the wedding. Bar package will be
charged at fixed prices per guest. The options will be of three types that is premium option and
supper premium option. Signature cocktails, Beer and wine, dry bar ( In case the couple wants
that only non alcoholic drinks to be served at their wedding) and Cash bar ( In this guest can pay
own for their drinks). Pricing will be according to the intuitive nature that is if more options are
given then it will be charged in a premium way. Number of options have to be decided by the
client according to which prices will vary. Other than than different type of meat and fish dishes,
Italian, Chikape will be also available.

Special needs
There are some special needs in the wedding which needs to be take care at the time of
wedding. In the wedding of Tom weds Linda some key factors that needs to be take care for it
are
 one wheel chair facility for the person who is disabled so that the person will feel stable
and enjoy the wedding with the best of it.
 Only eight children can be allowed in the wedding rest are clearly restricted because of
noise and issues.
 35 guest accommodation and services are needed at the time of wedding.
