Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Workplaces

Artificial intelligence id related with the development of different computer system at
work place. Now a days all the organisations are using it as it may help to save cost of hiring
humans for work. It is totally depends upon the use of such computers who can act and behave
like humans who are called robots (Navigli and Ponzetto, 2012).
According to the research of artificial intelligence, there are 50% chances of that the
robots can replace the humans at work place in coming 45 years. Machines and robots are
considered more efficient language translators as compare to humans they may be more effective
by 2024, they will be able to write essays by year 2026. robots will be able to drive truck by
2027, they will start working in retail by 2031 and will also be able to write bestselling books by
2049. Currently the doctors are also using machines and according to the research they will be
able to operate humans by 2053. It has also been researched that all the human jobs are also
being automated in next 120 years.
There are two different companies PwC and OECD suggests that the sectors who are
most benefited by artificial intelligence or have less risk of automation are those organisations
that involve complex, specialised tasks and people (Russell and Norvig, 2016).
From the above material it can be analysed that the most affected sectors by AI are
education, scientific, technical, information, communication, accommodation and food services.
The sectors who will be using AI badly are finance, retail and insurance.
