Answer to Q1:
After listening to the employees regarding their total office hours in a week I shall check
the company’s policy book regarding the minimum hours of work per week in the company that
each and every employee should be doing. I shall also call upon the Human Resource Manager
of the company and shall discuss regarding the issue because the HR Manager is the one who is
responsible to look into the compliance of human resource policy within the organization. I as a
director shall ask the human resource manager to find out the policies that has been enshrined
within the policy book of the organization regarding the working hours per week of the
employees of the organization (Tyler, 2019). If I find that the organization’s policy books has
policy of minimum completion of 40 working hours per week than enforce the same within the
organization. I shall declare that nothing out of the policy shall be enforced within the
organization and the employees should have to maintain a 40 working hours per week in the
organization (HR.berkeley.edu, 2019). I shall also ask the HR manager of HIM to retrieve all the
data of the employees who has been working less than 40 working hours per week and shall call
each and every employee to inform them that from now onward they need to follow the company
policy strictly by working 40 working hours per week. If any of the employees is found violating
the policy of the organization shall be show caused and might be terminated.
Answer to Q2:
If the policy manual of the company HIM speaks that the employees of the organization
shall have to complete 40 working hours per week, then I shall validate the policy by placing a
notice to each and every employee of the organization to follow and comply the policies of the
organization. I shall ask the HR Manager and its team to look into the matter strictly so that the
policy is followed by each and every employee of the organization and it should become a
discipline of the organization (Ifinedo, 2015). The HR manager and its team will enforce the
order passed by me within the organization and shall ensure that the policy of 40 working hours
per week is maintained by each and every employee of the organization. Therefore, though this
manner I shall enforce the policy regarding the 40 working hour per week within the

organization setting aside the unjustified rules that has been made by the former director of the
organization.
Answer to Q3:
I would devise the newly recruited assistant director and the HR Team of the organization
to look into the matter strictly and provide me with the appropriate solution. The assistant
director shall be devised into the matter to lead the enquiry into the matter with the assistance of
the HR Team of the organization. The HR Team as well as the HR manager is the professional
and skilled set of persons who are experienced in handling disputes and conflicts within the
organization. They are trained and skilled for managing the workforce of the organization. The
organization brings its policies into existence through the HR professionals. The HR
Professionals or the HR Team of the HIM is responsible to take care of the problems faced by
the employees of the organization (Shrm.org, 2019). In this given case some of the employees
have grudges against some other employees for not complying with the 40 working hours per
week policy of the organization. Therefore, the human resource department is the best possible
alternative for me to devise the duty to solve the problem of working hours within the
organization. Moreover, it is the human resource personnel’s of the organization have a regular
discussion and interaction with the employees of the organization and is acquainted with the
employees of the organization (Raines, 2019). Therefore, it will be proper to leave the solution of
the problem in their hands. The human resource department is also responsible for the
management of employee’s data regarding their total working hours per week which shall help
them to identify the employee’s non-complying with the policies of the organization. Moreover,
the human resource managers or the human resource personnel’s have a good knowledge
regarding the management and logical skills to bring out the most appropriate solution to the
problem. In this manner I shall have a solution to the problem of non-compliance of the working
hours of the organization.
