Activity 1A
A wellness plan is usually a given list concerning manageable and small steps that gets
any individual moving in a given positive direction. A well-organized wellness plan usually
comes with a positive as well as a lasting change to individuals who are adaptable and consistent;
this is regardless of an individual’s wellness plan goals. Any individual in the public domain that
would like to be healthier, happier, and more emotionally balanced must come up with a well-
organized wellness plan. The information that an individual requires to know as far as wellness
planning is concerned is that any party requires to determine what they are when in the right
mood (Tinetti 2012). It is therefore recommended that an individual starts by making a given list
of feelings and moods when the party considers himself to be in the relevant state of wellness.
The individual is thereafter required to note down how these feelings and moods contribute to
their overall recovery at the end of the day.

A misunderstanding between mental health workers and mental service users may occur
in line with their roles or rather duties. Mental service user’s role is building positive
relationships with various patients with an aim of creating trust issues with the respective
patients. They are seen to be doing this through listening as well as interpreting their concerns
and needs. The mental service users also work with cares, patients, and families in educating
them in line with their mental health problems. Mental health workers, on the other hand,
provides daily support and care to various patients. They ensure the patients go through the
recommended medications and other treatments; this is under the required instructions of nurses
and doctors (Pear 2010). They, therefore, ensure that various patents are assisted in line with

their daily activities that may include bathing, eating, and movement. The best communications
techniques that may be used to confirm and clarify the understanding that is between mental
service users and mental health workers is by clearly defining their meanings and roles. The
better understanding will come out in the event that they shall have been defined and every
party’s role clearly noted at the end of the day.

Cultural factors in the context of mental health care means or rather is relating to various
professionals that are qualified to deliver in line with the mental health disorders or rather
problems. An example of the professionals may include clinical psychologist, school
psychologist, licensed professional counselor, clinical social worker, mental health counselor,
nurse psychotherapist, certified alcohol and drug abuse counsellor finally marital and family
therapist to mention a few (Scott, & Wilson 2011). Other roles may be stated as providing
assistance in line with daily activities, assisting in administering therapeutic care and monitoring
of various patients conditions. The outline for mental, cultural information is introduced in DSM
– IV with a given framework. The framework is all about assessing various relevant information
in line with the cultural features of a given party’s mental health problems. The framework also
looks at how mental health problems relates to a given cultural as well as social history.

Some of the additional members that may be consulted during the process of wellness
planning may include clinical psychologist who are normally well trained to assist in diagnoses

developing and recognizing setting goals and strengths.

Some of the examples of documents that may be used in the process of wellness planning
include a project description and regulatory consideration document that is used to describe the
project as well as its regulations. The second example is a sample business planning manual that
is usually the reason behind writing the respective plan as well as its external users. Finally is the
annual wellness visit telephone script that is mainly used in assisting in communication between
staff and patients when the respective patients call in line with their desired schedule regarding

wellness. The bottom line is that by the end of the day a good number of people from all walks
of life shall have been informed as far as the wellness requirements are concerned (Marchinko, &
Clarke 2011). A wellness toolbox is a given listing of the various things an individual may have
done in the past or rather could do, to assist the individual in staying well. The listing also comes
