INTRODUCTION
Infrastructure Projects are regarded to be one of those kinds which will occupy a potential in the
midst of all other project. These are derived to be one of those prominent aspects where people
are more prone towards bring about the projects into existence. Some of the common
infrastructure project will include those of the construction mechanism and the ones that are in
these will be the Highways bridges mass transit airports and many more (Bluhm and et.al, 2018).
This entire report will deal with the case study that is revolving around Westgate tunnel Victoria.
This project is obviously the 4 km tall road which is under construction in the city of Melbourne,
Australia. The case study will depict the choices that are being inculcated in this particular
project and also the mechanism along with certain feedback that are associated. The report is
divided into three parts and every part will explain the different variations that are in due of the
project.

Background and objectives of the case study
The case study Westgate Tunnel Victoria will represent an entire mechanism of its construction.
The project is still under construction and is also divided into sections that will make it easier to
understand its infrastructure. The kind of sections that this project is divided is of three parts.
These include the Westgate Freeway the, Tunnels and Port to city. The objective of this case
study is to explain the entire mechanism of the Tunnel Project that is making an impact in the
city Melbourne. This will also promote a better place and the probability to work and play for
individuals (Broniewicz and Ogrodnik, 2020). The Government of Victoria in this regard has
partnered with Transurban in order to bring about the best of its ability to enhance a freeware
link that can connect west and the city. A quick glance towards the entire formulations that made
this project one of the easy travel mode is being picturised in this report. Through this case study
one can easily understand the environmental sustainability that is being practiced by the project
and its deliverance. A new tunnel that is going to be built on the West Gate Bridge will be one of
the most remarkable constructions and that is what this project is carrying. The reason behind
breaking of the case study is to analyse different sections of the project that are necessary to be
highlighted while dealing with infrastructure and the construction. There are obviously certain
project divisions that are mostly term to be the three part division for Westgate tunnel Victoria
