from the centralized management system. The entire process of converting a raw material into
a final product is managed by the supply chain management system. For this discussion we
have considered to the Westmount Moving and Warehousing, Montreal, Canada as the
company which uses supply chain management process for the business improvement. In this
report we are about to discuss some of the important aspect of the Company, Westmount
Moving and Warehousing situated in Montreal, Canada and how the company has improved
itself with the repeated usage of those techniques in the organization and out the origination.

The company was established in the year 1938, and since then it is providing services in
the transportation of the goods sector. The main job of the company is provide assistance in
moving out goods internationally. Westmount moving takes care of the entire process of
moving out the goods, packing them, placing it back to the destination and unpacking with
extra care and responsibility. The industry in mainly into Consumer Services, where its main
focus is the customer satisfaction through efficient services around the world. At present, there
are about 200 employees engaged in the organization, with branches in Kitchener and Ottawa
in Ontario. The main features of the company includes, both local and long distance moving
within the country, Canada, apart from this, they help in moving outside the countries and
overseas as well. They also support relocation of the employees, commercial moving, and many
more facilities.

roles in the supply chain management system offered by the companies in Canada. The
Westmount Company also offers many job roles in this sector as well. Among all, Logistic
Supervisor- transportation is very interests me the most.
