What are your greatest leadership strengths?
As a leader I have good communication skills and also have decision-making
capabilities which have contributed heavily to my leadership. Communication is an important
element in leadership which helps to shape a community through enhancing participation of
people in issues that concerns them. Decision making has helped me to lead in the right way
through effective sharing on community resources (IntDom, 2016).
What are your opportunities for growth as a leader?
My opportunities for growth as a leader are unmasking my flaws and appreciating
feedback from the people that am leading. Through identifying my flaws am able to interact
with the people that am leading as reducing conflicts with them. Besides, I also appreciate
feedback from my people hence they have an opportunity to air their view without fear.
Action Plan:
How can you capitalize on your strengths?
I can capitalize on my strengths by enrolling in administration training which will be
helpful in strengthening my leadership skills. Also I can capitalize my strengths by ensuring
effective management performance threats in order to limit weakness and overdone strengths
besides; I can also encourage people to have a positive attitude in everything they do without
even losing hope.
What can you do to improve in areas where you have opportunities for growth?
Firstly I can improve my opportunities for growth by getting rid of any form of
distractions that might be hindering my goals as some of these distractions have lowered my
performance as a leader. Secondly, I can also improve in my opportunities through managing

interruptions in the community that make it difficult for people to work effectively and
efficient (Vivial, 2017).
